I think GMOs have a lot of potential. However, I’ve also seen some problems caused by GMOs. A close friend of mine is allergic to something (I wasn’t given many details) found in many GMOs. I think businesses should have to label foods with GMOs, but I don’t think they should be banned.
GMO foods are fine to consume. They’ve help us countless times weather virus and crop disasters. Organic grown foods, still get sprayed with pesticides (I’m a agricultural farmer from Aus). Crops in general, GMO or not destroy land and flora. The bugs, the habitats of animals. All for profit. But that’s my way of life.
So you are 1 of them highly indoctrinated arrogant their homemade smart 1's to misguide carefully huh? There's nothing natural about gmo on my ancestral soil.
I think gmo is fine if and only if there is a transparent open network by and for the people that allows for highly tested and scrutinized scientific testing of the GMO products, although for non-consumption purposes it’s a godsend - make the hemp industry and fabric cost the lowest it’s every been or can be kind of stuff… make it so nobody has to ever go clothesless with the material examined routinely and with the highest safety in mind kinda stuff…
Same with high fructose corn syrup and we not only know it's bad, but, it's also banned in other countries. yet in the US according to the "experts" It's fine in small doses Except that now it's in so much stuff on the grocery store shelves that you can hardly avoid it for trying so you end up eating a lot of it. It's not just in unhealthy things like soda or candy either. It can also be found in "healthier" food choices like honey peanut butter salad dressing oils beef jerky etc. Worst part about it is even if you literally cut out all food with high fructose corn syrup on the label you're still not safe from it. High fructose corn syrup is now going by at least 30 different names like fructose, glucose and even sugar.
Uh no everywhere around the world has gmos a big peach is a gmo they don’t exist in the wild same as apples corn big tomatoes etc. idk where you got that gmos are only allowed in the USA
GMOs are allowed in other countries, not just the US. And there’s no harm in GMOs either. Any claims made about GM crops have to be verified by the FDA, and even before that they have to go through many tests to ensure their safety. There is no reason backed by evidence that GMOs should be banned.
Just because the FDA approved something does not make it safe for us at all the FDA, the WHO the big deep state agenda get and keep people sick wake up America
This is a very uneducated stance because it’s not only allowed in the US, other countries have used them too and in many instances it’s helped prevent fruits from being diseased or infected. almost every vegetable and fruit you eat is a GMO and they wouldn’t be edible without it.
All i heard is that our urine pisses out the stuff, meaning it can successfully be filtered out naturally by our body. I want to hear more reasoning about how gmo will kill me, becaue me pissing it out and i guess plants getting use to the toxins dont really make me want to spend 50% at stores, yknow?
GMO’s dont kill you unless they’re modified to kill you, all the problems with GMO’s come from exploitive practices from farmers, not the technology itself.
As a British organic farmer I can tell you all one thing. It is cruel on animals and the produce across the board is substandard compared to conventional. Live the rest of your life unable to access medical treatment and tell me you will live a healthier and longer life. Why then subject animals to this. Don't want genetic modification. Yeah because chickens always looked like that. Why does selective breeding sound ok to people but gm terrifies people. The answer. Stupidity. Ask a starving parent from anywhere around the world if they want us to stay organic or if they want the ability to feed their child. And see how they feel about your fancy carrots.
There are many questions in this world that the human race does not know and do not have answers to. In order to solve it, we need to eat food given by nature and keep our body and mind healthy. But today, in the name of inventions, natural food products are treated with pesticides and genetically modified products, so the human race is sick and the natural and virile seeds are being destroyed. In the end, the human race is marching towards destruction without knowing anything.
That’s completely wrong, this technology has existed for a very long time and people already have answers. the real answer is that gmo’s are fine if we can encourage farmers to not make them have issues. and no, eating the food nature gave us doesn’t keep our body or mind healthy. people in the BC era ate organic and they got sick and died more often than we do now. look up botanic vegetables, they do not look edible at all. you are eating a gmo everyday because an edible non-gmo doesn’t actually exist and it’s purely a selling point for the conspiracy theorists who dont know what GMO’s are.
My buddy has a whole section growing on his fence in his yard, I noticed that they have these orange bulbs that look like fruit. I opened one up and inside is kind of soft like cotton and has red seeds like pomegranate, so my question is, are their “fruits edible”?
Gmo fruits and vegetables not all good and not all of them are bad depends on the person literally u have to experiment on yourself of what fruits and vegetables benefits sort term and long term for oneself, I know what I gotta eat but if I tell u it may or may not work for u, and eating always healthy no such thing cause u gotta know your balance, that's all
One of your claims is that hybrids are the result of natural pollination methods. That is so wrong. The first step in developing a hybrid is to force two separate breeds of plant to pollinate only itself, and to do that for many generations, so that every specimen ends up with two identical chromosomes of each type. You do that with both starting breeds. Then you have to arrange to cross them. If you allow them to self pollinate them at that stage you don't get hybrids. So far the whole process has involved manual pollination, nothing natural. But in fact, most hybrids are made with a little less labor by the following trick. Once you have the two "pure lines" you somehow get one of those to produce no pollen at all. Then when it is fertilized it must be the pollen from the other pure line. Do you consider any of this to be natural pollination methods?
our government and the governments of the world are slowly training us to accept all the poison food so that in time, the population will diminish. and those that survive will be at the mercy of the Bill Gates of the world. By controlling the food, they can control the people. Wake up folks... Its all preordained
GMO and traditional selectively bred foods, both employ agricultural science. GMO scares those 'too lazy' to be informed of the scientific facts, rather they fearfully embrace obsolescent technology! GMOs achieve the SAME results as 'old fashioned' selective breeding does, yet it's done in a single splice 'rather' than many generations. The narrator portrayed GMO as unnatural, which displays an obvious lack of knowledge, and a bias against.
How many do their own research on GMOs? GMOs are bad for you. The bugs have become Immune to the pesticides in GMO's. So they are having to spray extra pesticide on the vegetables to kill the bugs. Eating Organic is best. I know Some think it's expensive to buy organic but if you price check everything you will find it really isn't that much more expensive. After awhile after Eating organic you will be able to taste the differences between organic and GMO's with most vegetables especially fruit. Berries are a lot sweeter when organic in my opinion. Sometimes It is hard to tell if it's really organic if you have any doubt don't buy it. For instance if blueberries are huge and it says organic I don't buy it. I don't buy strawberries at the grocery store buy them at your local farmers market. Sometimes the prices at local farmers market seem a little much. I have to remind myself that they're going by the pound and for 1 person I don't really need to buy a pound of strawberries or a pound of red potatoes I'll just buy three or four. Sometimes the grocery store may not have what I want in an organic vegetable. It's OK if you're not always eating organic balance it out.
@@charlesmrader When someone is expressing for others to do their own research. It means don't take my word for it do your own research then decide what you should do. My comment was just to give tips from my own study, and experience It may not resonate with everyone. Thank you for your comment it is not my intention for people just believe what I say. It's best to do their own research.
how can I have a stance when the long term effects are unknown? assuming there are any. shouldn't we be more concerned about the poison sprayed on our food?
That’s a better answer on this, but the answer’s are not completely unknown. real information is very accepting of GMO’s because they actually help develop our food properly. But yes, we should be concerned about farmers using poisons and harmful chemicals, this is where the problem comes from but they do not come directly from GMO’s.
What do you mean by gmo ingredients? An additive to a plant food product can be used in a gmo plant or a non gmo plant. Gmo is simply the method of how that particular genetic makeup of the plant itself came to be, and has nothing to do with preservatives, antibiotics, etc. Are you confused or intentionally misleading people? Are the naturally cross bred genetic variations tested to the standard that you would ask Gmos be? Nature contains many substances that are carcinogenic, toxic, poisonous, inflammatory, etc.
The American people for the most part do not want bioengineered food products. Regardless of want propaganda these large companies put out they do not know the long-term affects of eating such Foods.
There is no such thing as a food that has not been bioengineered except for some meat products. because most of the fruits and vegetables we eat simply wouldn’t be edible if they weren’t advanced. Look up a botanic banana, botanic watermelon, botanic carrots. That’s what they looked like before being a GMO and they are not even suitable for human consumption despite being organic. and the answer isn’t completely unknown, there isn’t any possibilities that GMO’s impact us negatively, the only way they could is if farmers engineer them too. Instead of blaming GMO technology we should be blaming farmers for not looking into better methods of getting rid of pests. GMO technology is more than just pesticides.
