While not everyone can access the basin of DeSoto Falls, that didn't stop my three year old from accepting the challenge. If you're interested in making the hike to DeSoto Falls Basin but not sure if you're capable, I encourage you to watch this video as I venture through the trail capturing the terrain. While most can make the hike with no problem, there are some steep inclines, rock formations and debris to climb over, as well as rocky terrain. The hike took us around 40 minutes to access the basin taking the pink pink/white trail. As always take nothing but photographs, leave nothing but footprints.
