Amazing collection. I found it interesting that you don’t plan on doing some backgrounds. I wish I would have thought of not doing that myself sometimes. I’ve done a few projects that had mostly solid colors in the backgrounds. That can drive a person a little crazy. I also have to think about using different colors for the fabric. I need to think outside the box. Great video.

Lovely to see you back again, especially with such a wonderful large project. It's amazing to see all the close up details too. I love your little changes, I guessed that was your horse before you even told us! I started my First Chatelaine in 2017 and asked my friends to "donate a skein" as a Birthday present instead of sending presents or cards. But like you, I looked really carefully at whether a £6 skein of silk was going to make a real difference or not. Looking forward to your March update now.

I am doing this fairy at the moment ,what a struggle with the wings and quarter stitches ,and the lips are giving me grief as l do not know how to do them ,and the colour that’s for the lips is not listed in the floss .yours is beautiful.
Sorry it has taken me so long to reply! I used the shade of pink in her wings for the lips and backstitched them with it or a darker shade of pink, cant remember offhand exactly, but I did use the same pink in her wings. I hope that helps
Just beautiful. BTW, what type of fabric is that? I would love to start a Mirabilia but can only seem to find the patterns only. I'm pretty new to cross stitch but only have done complete kits. Thanks!
Thank you for your kindness! It is a hand dyed evenweave fabric from an Australian company, Country Stitch, but Im not sure of the name of the fabric itself
Sorry it has taken me so long to reply! How I tackled that section was to stitch the braid first and then went over the top of the completed stitches with 1 strand of the blending filament. It was much less hassle than trying to stitch with both in the same needle
OMG I just found your channel, your work is AMAZING! I am just about ready to start a Mirabilia but can’t decide which one!! I have become somewhat of a hoarder of those patterns! I love so many of them. But this will be my first on fabric NOT Aida... and I’m scared. Any suggestions?? Thanks so much, Karen

I really appreciate your discussion of anchoring the thread behind the work and on the needle. I have watched numerous beading videos where this wasn't discussed. That is what I needed to know.
I am looking for 14 count Aida to do this pattern ,could you suggest a colour this would look good on please ? As l am having trouble finding a colour online to suit this pattern .
