Just about to buy this synth. I love what it can do. I was listening all over RU-vid for some good examples of how musical this synth can get, and mostly found discordant noise. Stumbling across your video really perked my interest because your musicality really shines through in the track you made. Excellent video demo of what this synth can do!!
"Angry" is a good term for the K-2. A lot of the earlier Japanese synths had this quality. Aggresive and bold. (not that that is a bad thing sometimes. but it would be nice to tame it sometimes) That's what the Model D and Minimoog can do. They can go from sweet to ripping. The Pro 1 is almost as good as the Model D. Cheers
@@RobertIverMusic Yes, easy and rewarding. A lot of suble tones and shapes from both those synths. The envelopes on the Model D are fantastic and flexible. I hope everyone can get a chance to really get to know this under rated synth. You have a great channel. Really enjoying your "experiments" thanks
You know the Model D is just more refined in its sound. The K-2 is raw and immediate. The Pro 1 is also very immediate. May be its the envelopes but its probably more of the filter. It is the same on the originals from my experience. I used them on many projects so pretty familiar of the tones. That is actually the great thing about these Beringer versions. The design follows very closley the original synths. really enjoying your videos. Cheers
Awesome soundscape - seems to be a great combo, Prophet rev4 & Mood MK2 with its great stereo processing. Speaking of which, this inspires me to try my Prophet with the Gen Loss MK2 + Neunaber Immerse MK2 - as MK2 is the thang, obviously!
Hello Robert. Really love your sound univers. I'm keeping an eye everywhere to see, when there's something more from your creative hand. If you would be interested to listen to my new synthwave tune, here's the YT link. Wish you a nice sunday. Cheers J ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-TluFNrEFUzA.html
Super cool music. I love it and hope it will be available for download one day. You're having a great sound, super cool tunes and very talented musician. Still waiting to be able to download your tune from your Behringer PRO-1 video. I'm crazy about this tune and could put it on repeat all day long. Cheers J
I did release 2 tracks on Spotify the 29th and 31th of August. There’s a new video upcoming and I’ll do a release of the track(s) that I previously did release on RU-vid;-) this month.
I stumbled upon this video 3 years ago because of my Neutron. I come back every now and then to listen this masterpiece and daydream. You made a man happy and inspired. Thanks!
Thanks for sharing. The Prophet 5 sounds great and the units around it add some nice texture to it. I have been noticing a lot of people with reverb type effects pedals doing this. I am hoping to have an Eventide Blackhole link with an Argon 8 hopefully soon.
The Model D has the fattest sound (3 oscillators of course). But overall, I liked the Pro-1 the most for this particular jam. I don't like the envelopes on the Model D. I much prefer a full four stage envelope and that's what the Pro-1 has. I own the Model D and the Neutron just for full disclosure.
Thank you for showing the finished track first and only after that demonstrating how you did it. It's a great tutorial and I very much enjoyed the track!
Well done with this song, it reminds me of the title song for Tetris on C64. Those two notes ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Rpt-G3dRcek.html Besides...The Pro-1 has this unmistaken quality to the oscillator beating that I have not heard in other mono synths, only the Jupiter 8 matches it in my ears. Its brassy both in the bass and the top.
Great track! Beautifully composed and gorgeous sound design! On top of that a truly generous invitation to follow along. I got a pro-1 a long time ago and really enjoyed playing around with it a few times but I have yet to make something with it. Your video is very inspiring and now I can't wait to team up with that little beast and see what we can do.
