Thank you. I think I'm going to replace my series 3 apple watch with the inspire. I don't want a smart watch anymore, i just want a basic fitness tracker without the bells and whistles, but good battery life.
I personally use tbe Fitbit versa 4. Its been great for my 5 mile bike rides. When it comes to battery. I have managed to get a whole week on one charge. The only problem i have is that i can't get Alexa to sync on it. When it comes to the band , i can't stand the band it came with . When it comes to it, i recommend changing it to a frabic band. When it comes to other for Fitbits. My last one was a blaze.
@@STAGFITNESS well, use your own footage to start and use your own impressions of the product i.e. the 15 days as a smartwatch, what does that mean? I got mine 5 days ago, the battery is now 48% no way it's lasting 15 days and you should charge lithium bats before they go down 20% so we are looking at 8 to 10 days to charge, still pretty good. More, the sleep coach, what does that means? It's just a couple of tips on why you should sleep and some habits that will be good for your sleep but its not like the sleep detector even works very well, it's ok and should be taken with a grain of salt. After 5 day it's all I have, hope it helps, just don't say what adds are saying and use your own footage and opinions and it will all seem honest and get you a subscriber base thats stays and trusts you.
Great review!! I had a couple of queries about this. 1. As you mentioned in the video the GPS capability on this Stainless steel version doesnt have MultiBand GPS. But it has multi GNS support. How much of a difference does the multiband GPS make? Did u find any issues with the GPS tracking in remote areas or hikes? 2. Kudos for choosing the stainless steel edition than the titanium edition as it looks much nicer than just the black/white on the titanium. But can you comment on the quality of the gorilla glass on this stainless steel edition? Thanks !!
Thank you for your comments. 1. Now regarding the GPS, due to my location in the UK being close to major cities and towns I've had no issues with the gps and wont be able to compare how much of a difference the multi band gps would make (if any) due to my location. 2. I really like the titanium all black, but due to the silver stainless steel being on offer, it was a bit factor on my choice. But I'm really impressed with how it looks, especially with the silver and green display combination which is the one a mainly use and the quality far exceeds the venu 3 in comparison to how premium the watch feels and looks. I've knocked the watch only a couple of times and as of yet there are no marks and again I've not taken a direct impact to it so only time will tell. Sorry I haven't been able to help 100% with your questions, so hope that's helped a little with your questions.
I've been using the premium version of Lifesum for two weeks now, and I can genuinely recommend it. The interface is very simple and clean. The foodcatolog has most things, even in the Netherlands. And overall it's just not intrusive. Great review!
Hi there I will try, but at the moment I probably won't be able to as I brought the epic for my main device. Hopefully one day I will be able to work with Garmin to bring you more devices more frequently.
Great video tks. Between Venue 3 and Vivoactive 5 which one do you prefer to track gym workouts (strength and group classes) and also a good data tracking of daily health

The 2X is huge on any wrist. I have the instinct 2 with no solar. I found out, that the time I had to put it in direct sunlight I could easily get by charging it in a couple of minutes😂 It also lasts long enough for most activities and I live in Denmark, where sunlight is only few months a year.😅 The flashlight also drains battery on the large one, so it is pretty much a selling trick for me.
Is the flashlight strong enough though and easy to use? Good to know about the solar charging as I'm from the UK and wondered if it was worth it in the long run as it's not very sunny here.
@@STAGFITNESS i would say that the flashlight is pretty good. The solar feature is really not very nessecary because the battery lasts a long time. I don't get the idea of charging it in the sun for a long time only when sun is shining rather than charging it with a cable faster. That means you can almost never rely on the solar charging and it costs a lot more.
I have the sense and loved it till about a week ago, I shut it down and restarted it after a good cleaning. Woodworking and sawdust buildup, since then I can’t get 8 hours out of a full charge. I would love to keep this watch but it’s not convenient at an 8 hour battery. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Surprised the battery has dropped down to only 8 hours of charging. Sorry to hear that. Unfortunately not too sure what to recommend sorry. I would contact Fitbit or see if there is anyway to get into the watch to clean it out. Something like the apple watch ultra may be more suitable for your work as it has high dust resistance.
@@STAGFITNESS I called Fitbit and he know an awful lot about me and my traveling. He told me my battery was in poor health and sent me a deal for a 2, I switched to apple series 9 as Apple had fall detection and unfortunately that is a good detection for my physical state.
It is a deal breaker when the workouts keep crashing! I am in the middle of the free trial and 3 out of the 4 workouts I have tried have crashed. Very frustrating and definitely will not be paying a subscription for this.
If it was for the charge 6 and you don't mind missing out on the larger smart watch screen, then yes. Otherwise I would try and wait and see what Google does with a new versa later this year.
I've owned a Fitbit versa 4 and I must say it worked ok, however the GPS tracker wasn't accurate and sometimes it wouldn't work at all. Im curious to try out the Garner Forerunner 55. I do lots of jogging and running, what would you recommend?
Great vid mate, been hearing about a few issues with the compass on the G7, wanted to know if youve experienced anything? Compass not syncing not calibrating etc
Not using the 7 at the moment as now I'm on the epix gen 2 as I have to buy and sell the watches to review. I've had no issues with the compass for the little time I have used it, but I have had issues with trying to load maps to set up auto route. Have you got a 7?
Thank you 😊 My venu 3S is arriving today, I'm curious about the back of the watch on the left hand side, there's some kind of cover with numbers on it 123456789, is that a type C charging port by any chance please?
Sorry just seen this. Congratulations on the new watch and how are you liking it? No it's a different type charger if I remember correctly, as now I just picked up the epix gen 2 on sale. So I had to sell the Venu 3.
I am 63 years old but recently starting taking a beta-blocker to lower my heart rate as the anti-depressant I am on raises it significantly. With this I am no longer reaching my target heart rate for my age. My target heart rate now seems to be closer to 110 bpm and thus the FitBit is not registering my workouts correctly. Am I able to adjust settings for this issue?
I found this from Fitbit support. Tap on your profile picture on your mobile app Tap on Activity & Wellness Tap on Heart Settings Tap on Heart Rate Zones in the Exercise section Toggle Custom Max Heart Rate to ON Hopefully that helps.
Sadly fitbit doesn't seem to have anyway now to do challenges with your friends. If it wasn't for a few things I do enjoy still with the premium I would left fitbit right when they took away the challenges. Now they are forcing people to switch to logging in with a google account. Worse thing is that those who have switched to that I feel like fitbit isolated them from all of their fitbit friends and family and fitbit used to not be about that. Anyways though it seems the garmin app might have ways to join in challenges. So, I think that when my versa 3 does one day die I might just switch. So far looking at the products I kinda like the look of the Venu 3 series and the Lily 2 series Of course probably by the time my Versa 3 dies out there will be better garmin smartwatches. This is the type of stuff I enjoy doing with my current headache I mean fitbit app... The sleep score seems rather fun to find out how I did the recent month verses the previous months The fact they give us a sleep score pet is kinda cute. Just starting to use the food calorie counter thing. It not so bad just takes a bit to get used to remembering to log stuff. I chat with my friends (Those who hadn't switched to google login. (Thanks google for isolating us) Back when fitbit had the challenges and the fitbit bingo (Which was still very new when they removed it. and took away all our trophies.) My daily average steps was in the 20,000 's sadly without those they are barely getting an average 6,000. I am intrigued with the different watch faces for my versa 3. I have one that as the morning starts it has a sunrise and as the day goes on the sun moves up and then starts to go down at just after noon and when night comes the moon does the same thing. I don't use the option to pay with my device but I do laugh at how much all those cartoons, animes, movies, and even books and mangas set in the future were actually spot on with how we'd pay. I created a few of my own groups and are in many groups. I have a group dedicated to healthier food recipes and a group dedicated to giving and offering and asking for whatever kind of support or advice. So, would one day Garmin be a good switch for me? I did read that the app does offer creating and joining challenges and you didn't even have to be a premium member to do it. (Unlike with some of fitbit's former challenges/games when you had to be a premium member to create a challenge/game.)
I brought the Garmin fenix 7x pro sapphire solar for work and it's a beast. The band was a little tight, but it stretched out enough to wear it. My wrists are 25cm
@@STAGFITNESS During the summer, I was getting around 270,000 lux a day, and we're creeping into winter soon . Right now I'm averaging between 50,000 and 70,000 lux hours. Last week Monday I fully charged my watch and spent the week out hiking/hunting, and the first 3 days were cloudless by Thursday the rain had set in. So by Saturday when I arrived back to civilization the battery was on 55% which I thought was pretty good. To be fair I'm not entirely sure how the lux hours really affect the battery life other than to sustain the battery from leaking out to much. All in all I'm impressed with the Garmin fenix model as I had a G Shock Mudmaster GG-B100 before, and I'm also looking at purchasing the Garmin Instinct 2X solar tactical specifically for hunting and using the fenix for work. Thank you for the reply mate.
I have a FB Charge 6. Lasted 6 months. Got a replacement that lasted 24 hours. Another replacement on its way. I hope I can get at least another 6 months. If you buy from a store that offers a replacement warranty besides what Google gives you. Go for it.
