My name is Dom - I'm a Canadian Creative Director and Videographer. Dom & Marie, I USED to follow vanlifesaga & Vanessa, Vanessa ~ it was really, really upsetting when you both split up & went your separate ways. I truly hope Marie got her degree & shes happy in the new van she built with her dad. Please both of you be happy. They sold Vanessa & got a new van, which Dom ended up with. 😢
How much would it cost to hire somebody to complete a can build with all the bells and whistles for 2 adults to live in permanently? Also what kind of used van has the most room?
The LAST place you want to go for safety sake, and with your 100k+ rig, is Mexico. 20 years ago, no problem, 10 years ago, ummm.......but today, no way.

Rather than move your cooktop to make space, why don’t you put a short drop leaf at the end of that counter? It may not have to be any more than 4 or 5 inches to be included with the counter that’s already there and it would give you better space for your feet to go under your work area😊
I plan on doing vanlife in a city (not traveling and having an on site job) so the plan is to invest in my future house (reducing living costs by living in a van so I can save more long term for a permanent house.) What are your guys thoughts on that?

Excellent video. I am starting a van conversion and i am so confused about which brand of Lithium batteries to purchase. Like you, I am canadian, so i need a battery system that will perform well in extreme temps from +30 to -20. I have seen Battleborn, Dakota Lithium, Renogy, Victron, etc . . . Similar battery power pricing seems to vary depending on the brand. Do you have any thought on this matter?
