I don't like Serena either. She's extremely annoying and overrated as her shipping with Ash is so shallow. I like her game and manga counterparts, Serena (X and Y games) and Y (Adventures). To be honest, she makes me think of Yellow from Pokemon Adventures, a character that I can't stand in the manga.

@@LUOLMO Have not thought about video but I am sure gonna make many community posts debunking all of the forced shipping moments (Which are actually not at all a shipping moment) for example that so called date episode which wasn't a date at all. That guy didn't even hear to a to whst she wanted leaves her alone to find another shops, is not bothered about what serena might choose etc. How do you call it a shipping moment? Let's me take you further. The ribbon which he gave to her was of no use to him hence he sweetly swept it away on her.
I don’t hate Serena but I find her to be overrated because her character felt forced by the writter, being written as a love interest to Ash coming out nowhere. Her knowing Ash from childhood is a redcon, and when a character is written to be a love interest from the start, there wont be much room for complex character growth added into her character. It’s not just nostalgia I promised, but I prefer Ash’s relationship with Misty more. Misty was not written to be Ash’s love interest, and their first meeting was a hot mess. They didn’t have the best chemistry at first (man that guy fried her overpriced cerulean bike), but they developed their friendship throughout the show. Misty also started to develop genuine care for Ash as a friend, and more than a friend after. Love that sparks from friendship will always have more depth and meaning, than someone who admires a person from the get-go, because without the motivation of romantic feelings, Misty developed a pure genuine platonic care and love from Ash. So there’s more depth when I see her relationship with Ash, and how they changed each other for the better, and how Ash contributed in Misty becoming a competent gym leader.
Y'all crying mad that Serena kissed Ash and your precious Misty/May/Dawn/iris didn't. Comments show that anti-Serena fatherless/motherless idiot clowns are borderline insane and deserve to be flamed for all their pathetic worth.
