I loved this idea! I grew up with these Beistle die cuts and always wanted to bring them back. You’ve done it in such a cool way! I love to see these outdoors and in your display! So cool!
I'm so glad! I personally love that homemade nostalgic feel so I'm glad you appreciated it. Also, you can still buy some of the classic die cuts reproduced online.
Fantastic video! Love Topstone masks, there are no other masks like them. Very unique and timeless sculpts. Great to see this design brought back to life. I have a bunch of Topstone masks made in a similar was as you show in the video. When the CT factory was being cleaned out a fellow collector rescued dozens of urethane masters.
I Love this. i love this SO MUCH! this is so unlike anything else on youtube... you guys are helping masks and ART live on from a Bygone Era... you're helping a Man's Artwork who is LONG Dead, live on... and i think that's a very beautiful thing.
I loved how you added this skull into your halloween gate so i came here to see how you did that. This setup is so expensive and complicated!!😢 I think i will buy an animatronic from a box store and build it into a column. I really appreciate your effort and the $$$ put into your haunt!
Both these guys are awesome! Really love the pumpkin dude. Crazy what some spray foam and chicken wire can make with some creativity. Thanks for sharing!
@@menaceproductions we have appt of room for growth and better design, this year we will just do a display, we have learned so much watching what you do
Very creative! Looks fantastic. Now, I just need to translate your inspiration from my mind to my hands, which there is a broken connection.. lol. Need to try some of these techniques. Thanks for sharing
They all look cool to me. Where do you find black latex? I like to corpse with spider web then when it's dry I spray a adhesive and dab it all over with cotton balls then dab more latex on. Gives a cool effect for sure. Now I feel like corpsing today! Lol.
It’s hard to choose a favorite right?! You can get black 407 latex online from monster makers and I believe Bity mold supply also sells it. It’s all about the layers! Spraying the adhesive to add cotton over the cobwebs sounds like a great technique 👏🏻
Super impressive build. It turned out great. I really appreciate that you thought about storage during your build. Its really cool that you were able to get foam that thick for so cheap.
Can I email you on some ideas as I’m looking to light up vertically. Black lighting for tiered scenes I’m finding it difficult 2nd 3rd and top tier( 28-32ft) high with out staging 150w-300w black light arrays on each tier.
That sounds like a tricky one, usually you’ll need to look at the pro series of a lot of those stage lights either in a spot or flood form to reach that length. Happy to brainstorm but not sure if my experience can help with that 😅
I'm looking for a 'smart' light/powersource (standard plugs) I can plug my lights into that I can program to change/on/off/fade out slowly so I don't have all the lights on all the time with too much light going on. Do you know of such a product that I could program with an app on my iPhone?
Its hard to find a light with standard plug that can be programed. Some of the GE sync, Hue, Govee might have pre-fixed settings in their apps (most will let you set and program but not to auto change). you could also try something like light-o-rama to plug lights into a program but not sure if they have a mobile app. Gantom lighting is another but sadly they dont have standard plugs
I have a few solar powered flame lights I put in pumpkins at home but that’s about it. Wired and powered things I find are more reliable especially when the weather gets colder.
@@tracemiller1519 it depends on the size, they have small medium and large as well as “DJ versions” and “pro stage versions” I explain it more in this video but the DJ ones are between $70-$300 and the pro stage ones are between $400-$2000. I’d recommend going on sweetwater, PSSL and or Chauvets website to compare prices and styles, if you know what you want Amazon is also an optio
I think I’m gonna pull the trigger on doing this, I’m so out of storage tho it’s bad. My entire attic is filled with Halloween stuff mainly and some storage
That’s amazing! 🙌🏻🎃 However, I would say to plan storage that wouldn’t require lugging flat up and down am attic! Wishing you all the best in this Halloween adventure!
Never heard of klabs overstock before, but now I'm so glad you mentioned them - those gobos are genius! I wonder if they'd fit over Gantom's miniature spots and floods...
I’ve been trying to create them for years with no luck so I’m right there with you! The LED housing and gobo is wider then gantom’s lights but I wonder if you could just add some foam lining to make it fit 🤔 That said, I’ve found it’s the measurement and size between the LED and the gobo to be the trickiest, it’s worth trying it though!
