I looked up Diavola pizza, seems it’s named for the spicy salami, which is Italy’s equivalent of pepperoni.Pepperoni is an Italian/American salami type sausage created in NY in the early 1900’s.Those pizzas looked very good, and there were a lot of interesting ones on that menu.I use to make panna cotta in tin foil cups, then the plater would drop them out into a bowl, and garnish with fruit,I made several different flavors, especially in summer when we had excellent summer fruits available.I did an egg nog one for Christmas time.😊
If you look through my channel there's a lot of variety. Yes I did this video, and it got 3 times more views than anything else I did in Blackpool, so people must be interested 🙂
About 15-16£ i get from greggs on that app all the time soo good for breakfast rolls and linch rolls and last a good few days in fridge considering its all freshly made stuff
Yeah you definitely can’t go wrong with the value for money, and as long as you don’t mind what fillings you get in a roll are slice then you can’t go wrong!
@@GreenoEats Morrisons is really good for veggies got a carry bag full for 3.99 last week used most of it was like 3lettuces 4Avocados bag of carrots bag of potatoes 1cabbage 1cucumber some tasty Mediterranean roasting veggie pack a pack of grapes some fresh bread good for soup and some fresh french pastry bread things don't no how to spell em 😅
I think we can all see why you and Tim are friends, both have a cheeky sense of humour lol. That pizza looked incredible, I should not have watched this when hungry, lol. Great video, so nice to see you both enjoying yourselves, glad the food helped make your night even better.
Burger King is what I would choose over McDonald's if I had to have either but why do they never cook the bacon properly. It's alway anemic looking, nearly raw 🤢
Greeno, I am sorry, I am conflicted! 😥If this were a gastro-pub I would be giving it 10/10 without question, because it looked delicious! However, in a world renowned Fish and Chip shop, I am not sure. I think we should be looking at fish and chips. Sorry for being such an old fart traditionalist.
Looks like you had a good time and you really had a pizza the action there. We all have a mate like Tim, good to "meet" him. Food looks excellent and you did well, both portion wise and with the amaretto! Va bene signor!
Ha ha - I'll leave the obvious gags alone ! I ate a bit of it as is - and the rest I made into a dip, blitzed up with some chick peas, olive oil etc. Was decent !
Fantastic! You built the perfect Ploughman's. No matter what pub or restaurant you go to, nothing will beat this. Even down to the infamous egg, I agree with Greeno on his love of pickled eggs, but for a Ploughman's it is only right and proper to have a Scotch Egg. A little message to littlun Greeno, celery is good for you. It is nice and refreshing but at the same time it has zero fat and zero calories. Putting aside any allergens I may not be aware of, please try it. The only thing I would change is the bread. I do love my Irish Soda Bread, but alas I know the Ploughman's is English not Irish. So that is a little off piste concoction from me - apologies.😝
Oh my goodness! Is that real or did you make a typo? I am completely taken back, blown away, thank you so much 🙂 Thanks also for the detailed and interesting comment. Soda bread could certainly work, any kind of rustic bread is good in my book. Once again thanks for the incredible, unbelievable generosity. Not often I am lost for words, but right now I am close!!
What a lovely video, you both had a wonderful meal and catch up. All the food looked excellent and considering it included drinks very good value for money.
I just looked up the 10 best Italian restaurants in Bournemouth, this one came 4th, despite having nearly 1600 positive reviews! Now you 've to try the other 3 Greeno, lol!
@@GreenoEats Hoping to go there tomorrow if the weather is decent, talked the Mrs. into one of their pasta dishes! I'm going to have the Devil pizza like yourself!
@@Sarah77637 Wellkeep an eye on it - not heard of any serious issues with people getting deliveries, unfortunately I don't have any real contacts into the company myself
The pizza delivered on its looks. It looked good enough to make me salivate. I liked the retro Bournemouth shirt, that would have been from the days my team (Torquay) were in the same league and I would go to games in Brighton (at the athletic stadium) and Bournemouth. Sadly, whilst both clubs have climbed up the ladder, we have slid down the snake!
The first Bournemouth game I took my teenage daughter to was away to Torquay, who would have thought back then in around 2009 how different the oaths of both teams would have been! I went to Plainmoor last season to watch the game vs Weymouth.
Wow that looked amazing Greeno. If we can draw AFC Bournemouth away in the FA Cup 🤞 I will come with you for the 50% discount! 😂 All the best gents ….Smithy
Given our record against lower league opponents in the cup recently, there’s no way we’d get any discount 🤣 I see your lot signed Adomah, he’s kicking on a bit, but I bet he will still tear it up at League 2 level!
@@GreenoEats I think we have done some decent business so far but so have many others in the league. We still need to bring in some strikers but we really do need a promotion push and get back up to League 1 🤞🙏🔴⚪️⚽️ have Bournemouth done much business over the summer?
@@theabandonedhunter3604 hope you have a decent season this time pal. We've done very little business so far, brought in a couple of back up players, nothing more interesting yet, but still plenty of time 🙂
Those pizzas did look good, but I much prefer my seafood. So, I will have the Misto Mare Sharer please and no, I will not be sharing 😝 The desserts did look good. Cannoli can be difficult to eat with cutlery. I would have just picked it up and ate it by hand. "I don't speak foreign"...So funny. 🤣
I saw Spag Bol on the menu and immediately winced , it's not authentic Italian cuisine so alarm bells of fast food rather than restaurant. At least they served it whole with a knife and fork , the correct etiquette when sitting down and not sharing a pizza , only cut and folded if street food. Personally I'd have walked across the road to Turtle Bay and I'm a lover of all things Italiano but that's just my pursuit of perfection kicking in. Great vlog and glad you enjoyed it.
I dunno about the pasta, but I can certainly vouch for the pizza, it was incredible !! And I am very glad you enjoyed the vlog - we had fun making it !!
Ooooooo, now, I must admit, I was expecting a nice looking pizza to turn up, but OH MY GOSH! It's like if you imagined the perfect pizza, that would be it! I've currently got a few sad supermarket pizzas in the oven and now I'm wishing I had access to an El Murrino pizza. I always read the menu and think about what I would order, and I saw that there was a hot dog and chips pizza which now I am really curious to see how that would be 😂
They looked really tasty, and definitely on the list next time I'm going for a bit of food before the BIC. Baffi Pizza up on Canford Cliffs is about the best I've had around here, and they have another location in Southbourne. Went a few months back and was very impressed.
Great review Greeno - you guys were having a lot of fun! Next time when you’re in London - DoppioZero! It’s 4.9 rated on google - a brilliant Neapolitan experience.
A good time was had by all it seems! Maybe I will be able to get the Mrs to have a pasta dish, as I would like the Devil's pizza! By the way was that the rip-off car park you were in?
Bit late here, KFC is dire now for a chain chicken outlet and then there is Slim Chickens... There is one in Bluewater (Kent) ... most of the chicken options are boneless (except the wings), and devoid of any natural fat it is very unsatisfying and tasteless even for bland chicken standards ... The high sugar, salt and spice content from their sauces tries to distract you from all the sins underneath that I'd wager one can eat a damp bit of cardboard with those sauces and not tell much difference ... It's just another invasive American expensive junk food outlet that caters to energy drink drinking male adults who want to venture beyond pizza and Iceland chicken nuggets ...
Both Pizza's looked very nice indeed Greeno... A few years ago though... I really went off of Pizza for awhile... Mainly due to the really hard crusts... As some Pizza's were being made with less and less toppings... As they started leaving large one inch gaps of crust around the edges of my Pizza's... I much prefer my toppings to go right to the edge of my Pizza's... When i was in my teens... I used to love Black Olives on a Pizza... But whenever i had a Deep Pan Meat Feast Pizza (my favourite)... They used to charge extra for toppings like Black Olives... And because i would regularly buy a Deep Pan Meat Feast Pizza... Black Olives were usually left off of mine... But just recently I've been craving Black Olives again... I even looked on the Asda online website to see how much a jar of Black Olives are these days... And surprisingly they aren't all that expensive right now... A 310g jar of Asda Black Pitted Olives are only £1.20 pal... So i might order a jar on my next Asda online shopping order... 😋 Many thanks for this Pizza review Greeno & Tim... All the very best guys... Cheers. 🍺
If it’s good quality dough then the crust should be lovely and chewy, not hard. Black olives on a pizza are fabulous, especially with anchovies too, yum! Try making your own dough, it’s surprisingly easy, and then you can out whatever toppings you desire 🙂 Yum!
