Mr. Cohen - I will be missing your 12/7/23 presentation in Springfield, MA however we here in Fitchburg, MA are very interested in your Arts & Economic Prosperity reports.
Misha's artistry knows no boundries, he is one of a kind, generous a master teacher and has kept his humility throughout his life and career which was always evolving. Although he lives in america, it was canada and a lawyer from Toronto that helped him to seek asylum. The lawyer's wife drove the car, and they wanted to get him out earlier, he refused saying he was going to dance the last performance, which he did. The company denounced him. He didn't speak any english and had to run to the get away car! He was saying merci all the way. He has always been grateful to Canada and has come back on several occasions. What a wonderful man and of course the most outstanding dancer of his lifetime. As a Canadian I am proud we played a role of getting misha to freedom. He gave up everything up for his art , however he got his freedom to dance and gave us so much back. ❤❤❤love from Canada 🇨🇦 misha. It was our pleasure and honor to help you. 2:21
Great message. And art is what makes life more meaningful. During the pandemic the arts is what helped keep everyone sane with music, shows, and visual arts as well.

Music is essential to a well-lived life. It digs deeply into you, expanding emotion and language, communicating viscerally. Music is among the most profound aspects of living a human can experience.
Confessed TAX CRIMINAL Robert Smith was due to testify a few months ago in a federal case, against his former business partner, Robert Brockman, who mysteriously died before the trial began. In another trial, Robert Smith was set to testify in a federal case against his attorney, Carlos Kepke, who also mysteriously died just before the trial. Two DEATHS, both eliminating the need for Robert Smith to testify? See a pattern here anyone?!

Is there a way that our non-profit organization can get permission to use this video on our website? How and what procedures are necessary to do so. Thank you.
THE MAGGIE L. WALKER HIGH SCHOOL ALUMNI "Mass Classes" MIGHTY GREEN DRAGONS: We are disappointed that as an Alumni group "we" weren't given more credit for the consistent commitment and effort "we" put forth in achieving this major accomplishment here in our Capital city. But, we are very PROUD of all our Alum who put in the hard work regardless of the limited exposure and lack of recognition depicted in this video.
I HEAR YOU! The 20 years stood out glaringly. We turn and turn and turn the lid. Someone else turns the lid. It pops… and they get credit. Then they say the community “helped.” I am working on a public art sculpture now. Hopefully your efforts will allow us to move much more quickly. Blessings from Western NC, Black Appalachia!
Get over it, the past is past the problem is you keep dwelling on it so it never goes away. America has made lots of mistakes let's try and learn from them. Some states are just naturally racist and you'll have a hard time trying to change them. But to try and destroy America and change it to suit your needs that's not going to happen.
If there's one thing I disagree with this wonderful man on, it's his occasional prejudice against American art forms past around 1980. One must think the same fond nostalgia he presents about jazz (my art form) could be used to justify European Classical music against the same (and sometimes is). And decades or centuries from now, one could say the same about today's music. I think all that he's said here should be equally applied to all American music. He includes an oblique reference to the 'British invasion' which revived rock & roll, as another form of American music. Given jazz and funk are far from dead in 2022, being integrated with electronic instruments, I'll be happy to include these new takes with the old when teaching our youth. Who dares say swing jazz is dead when electro-swing exists? Who dares say rap and hip-hop are lesser forms of American music now? Put the minstrelsy aside and keep the enduring classics and profound lyricism; they speak to the American soul every bit as much as jazz and rock did before them. And with rap artists using hooks built on jazz, funk, soul and gospel? That's why you can't separate this stuff! What a communicator. We'll be very sad to lose him one day.
I meet Baryshnikov - in 1980 - I say the movie the Turning point - and wanted to be a dancer, so I walked into the backstory of that movie - meeting all the players as I studied ballet. He gave me a dirty look - bottom line - he may be great but he is just a person.
Peter Martins - is delusional - he asks Baryshnikov to show him a move and Misha says sure - and that makes him generous - not really - Martins can't perform the tricks because his body is bigger, Baryshnikov is 5 foot 5 inches, 140 lbs - in other words - he's a light as a feather. Also Baryshnikov has been trained in a classical system - with a great teacher. Sure BAryshnkov has supernatural abilities - like is ability to have extraordinary balance.
A gentle giant of a human being. He will be missed dearly by so many arts organizations and by all the people who worked with him in those institutions. A brilliant, kind and thoughtful man. Rest In Peace, Bill!
