I snagged mine Saturday after seeing it was in transit to dealer but just so happened it had already arrived that day and was getting registered and detailed. I got the mosaic black LT and the one I lucked out on has every upgrade offered in these Trax. I have the sunroof package, the full electronics package wireless apple/Android car play, adaptive cruise control, drivers confidence package, keyless remote start, LT Convenience Package. The seats are the Evotec leatherette/cloth combo. It has heated seats, heated mirrors and wheel, wireless charging pad, the works and it's fun as hell to drive. Got mine for $26,000 out the door with gap insurance and extended warranty. I happened to be at the dealership as they were unloading it and knew I found a steal as I hadn't seen another LT fully loaded like this anywhere and this one had more upgrades than any of the RS trims I had looked at. I prefer the blue accents inside the LT as there are just a few on the dash and not allover the seats like the RS and the blue accents blend with the screen displays. The red or yellow in the other trim models continues it onto the seats which I didn't like at all. The only change I'm making are the gold bowties to black ones. If you can find one like mine there's no way I'd go with a higher trim because really all that changes are the inches of the wheels, a power seat and seat material, and gloss grill. Im obsessed with mine! She's a sexy little thing for this mama to drive around town. 2 of my 3 kids are out of the house now so I got to downsize from my big SUV and this was the perfect little crossover to do it in. I don't need a luxury car I've always been a Chevy girl but I feel like I'm not sacrificing much honestly. The tech in the car is so incredible at this price point, it was a no-brainer and I love it!! My only dislikes was no air vent in the back and I'd love an arm rest with no cup holders in the backseat. Obviously I'd trash the gold bowties and have mine completely blacked out but that's it. Just can't praise this car enough. It's pretty cool because mine is the only one Ive seen on the road here in DFW in Texas so far.

I bought my wife the 2024 Chevrolet Trax 2RS top of the line model and the Activ is priced the same as the 2RS anyway no money down no trade in and I only paid $24195 out the door and that's with taxes and the charges for delivery also on my model blind spot warning lights are not on my mirrors I have the triangle and whatever the indicators lights are that come on with blind spot it's all on my cluster and love that better then on the mirrors!
Awesome detailed review! Thanks! I just got the 2024 Chevy Trax LT for my daughter and her husband. Love the styling, and the features that you get for the price. You mentioned heads up display, it’s on the dash but I can’t figure out how to see it on the windshield. Do you know how it works? The only difference between the Soundsystem is the LT and above comes with 6 speakers…below its 4 speakers. LT sounds pretty good for what it is. Yours looks great in white, love the black accents and black bowtie.
I custom order mine three weeks ago in Canada, Ontario and was told 6-9 mos wait time. The demand is strong, but i believe some dealerships in the USA have units available.........
I noticed the T missing from the back bumper as well....Whats that about? I got the same version with sunroof and such but could not tell if you had full tinted side windows and front windshield. Mine does, and I love it all blacked out....Wonderful vehicle. Had mine for four months now.
I drove them all and the best ride and feel was the 2RS for sure them 19 inch tires believe it or not they are nice and wide 245/45R19 and I really liked the ride in that 2RS Trax everyone thinks that it would ride terrible with that size and nope it rides the best out of them all!
I got the 2rs with the roof and the drivers confidence pkg for $26,500. Very modern interior for pricepoint, it's never felt underpowered for what wife does. Went 2rs because she liked the 19" wheels and all digital dash. We drove 18" rim active model and the 2rs and rode about the same. Finding ones with the roof is very hard
It sips fuel because one cylinder is missing. My 2022 Maverick XLT Hybrid cost $24,505. Those were the days of bang for the buck. Finding recently that a new one would cost over $5000. more, keeping it forever now.
Hey, could you confirm something on the 1RS Trax... I've seen a few reports of people complaining that the AC does NOT TURN ON when using remote start, specifically it seems to be an issue with 1RS or LS (lower trims) those trims do not have push-start or automatic climate control... the models that have push-start / automatic climate control (I think LT / 2RS / Activ) seem to work ok. Not sure if this is the intended behavior or a bug...?
I have the 1 LT and I can confirm that if you do not leave the AC turned on when you turn the vehicle off, it will not turn on automatically when you remote start
Great vid and truly a simple car. I don't care much for the sun/moon roof because it's an added cost once it craps out, hail shatters the glass or leaks, but if I want wireless apple car play I have to get the sun/moon roof. That sux. Though it is optional, if you get an 1RS model with a sun/moon roof, you still will not get wireless apple play. No built in navigation on any the models so you're prone to adding the wire to the phone to use your GPS, Google Map, the Waze etc. Which to me defeats the purpose of having a wireless infotainment system. I like that the 2RS wheel is 19" but I loath the wheel design. Looks too flowery if you ask me. And yeah, waiting on mine here too in about two or three weeks. I preferred the Cayainne Orange but I settled for the Crimson Metallic for I'm carless right now.
I have an Activ with no roof and it has wireless Apple carplay. I believe all models come with the wireless carplay. It is the wireless charging pad that people can get but only if they get the roof.
