So why are these discontinued? I know theres a ton of horrible reviews they really bombed on this product i was hyped for it 2 got it and sold it after a month maybe 20 sits prolly almost died 10 of those 20 times its like a really dangerous lonewolf that does not bit or cam well also the rubber seems to strech and the design placement of mounts is poor also its almost 4 lbs hea y then lone wolf
Thnks for the comparison, both great stnds, just the XOP is cheaper and will probably sell more than the .75. However, the anti slip surface & camo on the .75 is superior
In my opinion, the orginal Lone Wolf Assault II stands are the best stands ever made. I just cant see spending $500 plus all the upgrades to get the conveniences that either of these stands offer. The difference in weight or convenience is not enough for me. I will not see more or kill more big bucks using either of these stands as compared to my Assault II stands. Both are great stands, but are luxury items.
Any idea if or when XOP plans to release this climber? I heard it was set to release the first part of 2024, but still haven’t been able to find any for sale… would really like to give one a try!
I think it really depends on your style of hunting. That's a great option but for some a more simplistic/lightweight setup like a roll pack might be better option. -Especially people who might be hunting/hiking longer distances with more gear. It clearly has some advantages as you pointed out! Thanks for the vid!
You still using this pack? If not, why did you switch? I have it and like it quite a bit. Saw on another video you might be using the Tx5 Kyss pack. Any reason why you switched? Only thing I have to complain about is the plastic of the buckles seems a little loud when it dings on my platform or sticks. A little hockey tape might deaden that noise.
Any idea when this is coming out? I originally heard June, but never saw it. For the price, I was leaning toward this over the LWCG. If the delay was due to them changing up the way the belt secures, I’ll definitely buy one. The belt locking system was far inferior to what the old LWHC was.
Just sitting on the pot taking a shit and I thought, what if the add on wing was angled on the top the climbing configuration had a foam pad closest to the tree on top- put an add on wing straight on the bottom for a foot rest and you got a mini tree stand to sit completely down- when I was on the pot I measured and it would have to be on a 20” stick -
Very good review and the ability to get at hunting height as quickly as i have seen another RU-vidr get, I'm very interested. Thanks for the post! 👍🏻👍🏻
Never use it while one sticking unless the tree is leaning pretty good. I probably should but I feel very comfortable holding and maintaining 3 points of contact while climbing until I can move my tether
I've got a few summits and they are definitely comfy but I'd say Millenium has the most comfortable stand in the market. That thing is like A damn recliner. Perfect for an all day rut hunt
I love the theme music. When it started out I thought it was Oliver Anthony. I purchased the Trophy Line based on the many reviews I read. Tethrd, with shipping was going to be in excess of $73.00. I could find no military discount code and a measly black Friday discount. Trophy Line, as usual gave me a great deal.
Nice review! I bought some straps from Voile straps. They aren’t as stretchy as the one that comes with them but I like them. I use 2 to hold my sticks together and a longer one to attach them to my LWCG .5. Good luck this season!
Love mine as well. Transitioned from a climber to hang on with sticks this year and wanted a light mobile setup. These are perfect for that goal. Highly recommend the Stick Stack Stow system for these as well, from Genesis 3D printing--helps keep them together and prevent banging noises when setting up.
Id use matte clear coat no matter what, as it protects/hides uv exposure. Less reflection, paint wont fade from the sun as fast, easy win. I even use it on my archery targets and headlights
Like mine! They stack just fine. Take last stick in the stack and wrap the cord around the cleats opposite of the stored cord. This will pull the bottom stick towards the upper stick nice and tight. Lope the rope aider on top and use the rubber strap to hold them in place.
Got mine late last week, aiders showed about 4 days later. Got sticks delivered in less than two weeks from order. 4 sticks w ropes = 5.1 lbs They seem very solid, very quiet on tree and under load. Mine came w the rubber strap, still could maybe use the stealth strip kit. They barely tap when put together if the strap isn’t super tight in center. I would order another strap but can’t find them on their website. Maybe one strap on each end. Will try to get the genisis kit as well. Just wish he had a 4 stick kit instead of ordering 2 entire kits. Super happy here, saddles are solid as well.
My strap they provided broke after 7 sits. They are sending me another one. But I found some others that work great. Voile straps. I use two 20 inch ones to hold the sticks together and a 25 inch to hold the sticks to my LWCG .5. So far no complaints. They don’t stretch as much as the one they provide but they work. Fairly priced and several colors to choose from. Hope that helps!
I like mine so far. They pack pretty well on my JX3 with them stacked vertically on the back with the leg straps ran through the standoffs. I think people can’t get past the plastic look and feeling of them. I like that there’s no moving parts and the rope system is simple. They’re also made in the USA. Reasonably priced compared to others. But I would order from Scheels or somewhere other than directly from Latitude. Shipping through them was 2-3 weeks. Got mine from Scheels, with free shipping, in 3 days.
