Hey there, I'm Cat!! I am the head trainer and one of the founders of CZ Mustangs, a 501c3 Non-Profit Mustang Rescue and Training Facility. I train horses, primarily mustangs, full-time out of our farm in North Central Florida... living my childhood horse-girl dream and spending my days surrounded by amazing horses.
I travel with my personal team of mustangs to various horse events around the country, performing liberty freestyle routines to promote the trainability and beauty of the American Mustang.
I love sharing my journey training these horses with you all, I hope you guys enjoy seeing some of it, and that I can help someone with their own horse at home through my training videos!
You NEED to make an in-depth video of how you trained him so well so quickly! I plan on getting a BLM mustang in the future and could use some guidance.
My horse keeps trying to turn into me during lunging and line driving. I can stand behind her but she constantly turns towards me. I can't use her bit as she has had bleeding from the mouth in the past due to the bit. Any tips? Its an eggbutt snaffle bit
If he was totally wild,he could not have stood that Quietly, maybe , herb was added to his food , nothing has any drug's in it, just an old way of the North American Indians added to some tasty oats etc. i have trained many non-wild horses, and, even they were not as quiet as this lovely quiet gelding, so unless, he had some basic education from where he came from,or, is a one in a billion Miracle Horse, can only say thst a purely Wild Mustang could not be this calm. If he truly is a miracle horse, and, that is the name he could have, it suits him. Awe.x
Oh you got me too, lol. What a beautiful journey you both took. Amazing gentling job. You have a life friend. Great job, both of you!! He is so beautiful too😍🤗😍
I have watched other horse trainers and they have ALL said NOT to PULL on the horse's head! I gave a thumbs up for this video because I LOVE this horse and I RESPECT him and because he is DEFINITELY a fast learner!
At 7:26, she pulls on this poor horse's reins which in turn pulls and hurts the horse's head and I DON'T agree with doing that, this is my heartfelt OPINION!
Seeing his transformation is amazing! You really had a connection with him. This made me cry thinking about the horse you got and then the horse you made. It is amazing how horses have the mindset to accomplish something that takes mare than they expect. Could have put a warning that the vid was gonna make me cry lol.
How do you get all the calm ones 😭 My 2018 utah mare that we brought home 3 weeks ago, Ember, is curious but flighty. She is very defensive with a habit of turning her ass with the suggestion of kicking when you start to approach her bubble. No charging, but she's very wary.
Poor mustangs they think the people need a makeover. They are so rude about they them. The Mustangs like a more laid back look. It suits them. They probably like extra food instead.
Excuse me but when the video first started the mustangs were in a dust pen, before the people brought them through for you to pick, but do they live there all the time or is it just for the adoption event?
