Bought a switch with only the left joycon included and the seller didnt say "the right sides rail is broken" and simply listed it as used...after 2 hours of trying to find a fix that didnt require opening it up i finally gave in and yup... the right sides ribbon cable was snapped at the top of the rail. Guess im lucky it was the right side cable and that it wasnt my new joycon i bought for it like i feared. Thanks for the video.
The usual mirror to turn down is the one opposite to the driver's seat side. Check doing it with the left mirror. It's for seeing the curb when you parallel park. I'm assuming that you Brits park against the left curb and need the left mirror to point down.
Thanks for the video and I do enjoy watching your content :). Having watched endless videos on the Ray-Ban Metas including yours, I took the plunge and have been trying them out all week. Whilst it's an impressive device with lots of features including the multi-modal AI, videos/photos, mics/personal speakers etc I've decided I'm going to be sending mine back. Why? I just feel it does quite a lot but none of it particularly great. Maybe my expectations are too high for a pair of smart glasses. My main gripes are that the image quality isn't as good as I hoped - comparable to a smartphone camera from 2016; the lenses field of vision is very wide which makes it difficult to take good close ups; the fixed portrait orientation (more of a bug bear than I realised it would be); speakers leak sound far more than I thought from relatively low volume; lenses steam up far more easily than my normal glasses of similar dimensions ; the AI capability is a bit of a gimmick unless you have an eye sight disability - there's nothing there that Siri can't help me with better; and finally, it's a faff to download the media to the camera roll due to having to go to the Meta app each time and connect to the glasses WiFi. The product feels a bit 'beta' all round and I just don't think I'm going to get value for money. It's a shame as I was really wanted them to be 'wow'. What would it take for me to invest in a future pair of smart glasses? As well as addressing the gripes above, I would be looking for something that has some visual augmentation such as notifications , directions, point of interest etc. Obviously Google Glasses went down this path but failed, but that was 11 years ago.

For anyone curious about the screen size - it's smaller at 2.4 inch, which allows it to be a 'no-cut' mod. The same store has a 2.6 inch screen, which does require a little cutting of the shell window.
Besides cutting the shell window you may also need to cut/remove the 2 "screw holes" above the screen because the IPS frame is a little different. You also need a new screen lens, otherwise a (small) part of the screen will be invisible. I did the mod with the larger IPS screen (FunnyPlaying DMG RetroPixel IPS Q5 LCD), and I love it! So happy with my GameBoy 🥰
That reminds me of when I fitted a new, I think it was a BennVenn, screen to my old Atari Lynx. One thing I preferred about it was not having to replace a whole board just remove the old screen and back light. Nice job though and big improvement to it's playability.
Ive been on the lensology website but i only see the option to get a 'pack' and i need to send in my frames. i would prefer to do what you did and just get lenses sent to me but they dont seem to do that any more

Very nice. The LCD in my Game Brick completely died, so this is just what I need. The speaker being plug-n-play is the best part. Hope other mod shops pick this up sooner or later.

Even though I'm very familiar with building computers there wasn't a moment where I wanted to fast-forward... especially with my unfamiliarity of current gen graphics cards that you're showing. I hope you see this soon, and have a brief second to reply... it would be greatly appreciated as like yours did to you, my two graphics cards are teasing me as well... I also have an older CPU; it's an i9 9900K., however, I ended up having Two cards here unopened, and teasing me, ergo, twice the torture. haha 1) ASUS Dual RTX 4070 OC 2) ASUS Dual RTX 4070 Super. One of these will be returned. According to online stats and benchmarks my i9 9900K is ~20% faster than an AMD 2700X. The most taxing scenario on my potential setup will be gaming. My questions are: A) Do you ever feel bottlenecking during your minimal gaming sessions with your 2700X & 4070? B) In your experience do you think the Super would be too much horsepower for the i9 9900K to handle for gaming? I just don't want to get into a scenario if I keep the Super, and wish I kept the 4070 OC because my CPU utilization is going through the roof with a 4070 Super version... which might happen anyway with a plain 4070...? I have a question. I'm actually about to work on a couple of Super Nintendos as well as a Sega Genesis and I noticed that they both take that same voltage regulator. The Genesis has thermal paste but the Super Nintendo doesn't. Do you think it would be a good idea to add thermal paste to the Super Nintendo voltage regulator in the same way as the Genesis? I honestly don't see how it could hurt but I just wanted to run it by someone like you who has more experience with this kind of thing
