I was considering purchasing this product, wondering if I could eventually replace the battery, so I found this production very informative. Thanks 🙂 BTW: Dham that Pop/Bang at 04:31, frightened the life out of me! I've had my fair share of, err... explosions, during my engineering career so my brain has become highly tuned to these particular sounds, and so my body elicits an over-reaction fight/flight response! 😂
Numerous people have replaced this battery with 3V batteries like CR2032 (or you could do CR2016 as thinner or CR2016 x 2 in parallel (NOT SERIES!) for more capacity). ~3V at a low current is ~3V at a low current. The battery says 3.1V (when new) on it in the video, I mean it's only got 2 wires. I think I'm about to get one and Ill just do that when the battery dies. It works or it doesn't work, if it's dead and going in the bin if if it doesn't work it's not a high risk repair.
I recharged a disposable ecig and refilled the canister problem with lithium is there is no protection on it so over charging it would be catastrophic you if you know the cells capacity and some clever maths you could probably do it safely
I've never activated the tile on my keyring deliberately in several years of ownership! But after daily accidental presses I finally 3d printed a shell for it!
Is it rechargeable? You think it's lipo? Mine (3x) have not died yet, but they will soon. If I can charge these that would be the best option, since I can't find a source for such a thin battery.
Mine last 2 years. The 380mah is BS. The 2032 is 225mah. From what I can tell that trash battery covers more space then 4 2032. ~900mah If 380 lasts 2 years a fully functional battery pack that size should last ~5 years. Now where near close with 380mah. Sounds like shorting the
