Matt, great job. Thank you!! A couple of things to consider for a bit longer of an approach. A 15% move happens 1 every 2 yrs. The Qs are down nearly 12%. We just came out of a bear market in 22. Markets normally do not "crash" every other year. A 20% move 1 in every 3 years. That would put the Qs @ 400. No doubt it has been a crowded trade and is unwinding due to a strategy that went the wrong way, and poor # numbers from AMZN, and MSFT, which were not that bad.. at least MSFT that is. APPL and META have been bid for the most part. Friday NVDA did catch a bid... If we see the baby/darlings getting thrown that being AAPL and META with volume I'm a better buyer than seller. The 200 day for the Qs is 430. That will put the RSI@30 and 3 standard deviations support. Keep in mind this is coming from a trader/ ME that is comfortable trading from the short side.. 2/3 yrs out I think it's a small blip on the radar..
*I had problem comprehending trading in general. I tried watching other RU-vid trading channels, but they made the concepts more complicated. I was almost giving up until when i discovered content and explain everything in detail. The videos are easy to Follow*
I've been making a lot of looses trying to make profit trading. I thought trading on a demo account is just like trading the real market. Can anyone help me out or at least advise me on what to do?
Trading on a demo account can definitely feel similar to the real market, but there are some differences. It's important to remember that trading involves risks and it's normal to face looses sometimes. One piece of advice is to start small and gradually increase your investments as you gain more experience and confidence. It might also be helpful to seek guidance from experienced traders or do some research on different trading strategies
The SMCI heart breaking putt play was the most accurate and profitable ever for me. Thank you. Just for educational purpose, would you please explain more detail for how to pinpoint so accurate and find this heartbreak play? Thanks again
If the QQQs did indeed do that very nifty wave 2 pump up higher on Wed. That was an incredibly long wave 1. Which means the crash is on w the wave 3. Which could take QQQ prices down to the 260s. Yeah, 2, 260s. Opportunities to go short will be tricky and short lived. I’ll watch 445 and 475. IWM completed its wave 5 at 227. Which means it can retrace 100% percent, down to around $96. Thanks Matt.
SMH is at the 200 DAY MA and the SOXL bounced late off the 200 Weekly MA on the SOXL Friday. I suspect we see a pretty good dead cat bounce rally in the chips and Semiconductor sector Monday and into the early week.
Yeah... this video exactly what I want to hear. Shorting is so much more fun than going long (I'm twisted, I know)... but hear me out! Down market moves tend to be way more violent than up moves, so it goes and wipes all that action fast! That means fast profits! Personally... I want to see a fat red bar off the 200 on the day chart on the qqqs... because shorting is fun.
Mohamed el Erian recently said the world fells like it’s being shaken from the top and bottom at the same time. Definite change in psychology not just in US. Change in market tone is risk off for now. Matt you are not a rambler appreciate your bull and bear objective comments.
Thanks Matt. You didn't ramble! But you do provide great analysis. So much to digest. I hope folks aren't hanging their trading beanies on the "Beryl effect" responsible for driving the market down. As Jason Furman stated, "The jobs slowdown & revisions pre-date it. And all was worse than forecasts-and forecasts knew about Beryl.” We'll see with the next report. Until then, buckle up!
Excelent analysis! I really appreciate the monthly looks always. The additional commentary is always adding value and I appreciate your take on it. Always learning something on the show and getting us ready for the weeks and months ahead. Thank you! 🔥💯🐐
Honestly, I don't know how you could improve your contributions short of never stopping doing it. Your voice is good enough some broadcast major might hire you away, that would be tragic. You erase your drawings fast, but better I rewind than you slow yourself down and not enjoy the process. Thanks a LOT! I should prob seek out some of your training, though it's slowly seeping in.
