Pathetic list! So no beautiful villages away from the coast make the list. Has this grockle ever heard of Dartmoor? Arguably, Cornwall edges it on best beaches, but Dartmoor the jewel in the Devon crown!
I thought Devon was a place full of castles, luxurious palaces and red-clad horsemen blowing horns accompanied by their fox-hunting hounds. But I see that I was wrong.
My favourite is none other than the exquisite and visually appealing WADDESDON MANOR, which I visited in October of 2019 ❣ ❤ 100% ❤ 🇬🇧 Roland Singh, Canada 🇨🇦
Loved Cornwall, did summer-seasons in Newquay in my youth where I often swam across the tidal-river Gannel to Crantock village. I crossed every day with a large dog called Cracker who was the pet of the hotel where I worked. You had to judge it right and he actually saved my life once when I misjudged the power of the tide and had to hang on to the scruff of his neck and then urged him on to "pull'. Bless him, still love him to this day. Might not be here without him.
Wow I always thought the TV was American made. Also I'm sure Thomas Edison did something beurocratic to get sole credit for the light bulb in the US haha. But anyways nicely done Great Britain 👏
Think this should be a list of beaches and a poor one at that, there are far more beautiful villages in Devon than this, far to many to list in a 5 min video, Whoever put this together needs to get out and about and spend less time surfing the internet.
Ive been living in Suffolk now for 48 yrs and would agree with that list apart from Coddenham, its not particulary interesting at all.Ive lived in Lavenham and its lovely, also lived in Long Melford and its ok but not very special.Kersey and Polstead are stunning. In general though Suffolk isn't that sleepy county anymore, its not particulary well kept due to uncaring councils and there has been a huge influx of new properties build in recent years.Suffolk was a wonderfull county to live in 25 yrs ago but sadly no more.
You should change you name jeave out national you are not interested in indigenous people you calendar no christian holidays on it but Ramadan etc. Included
Half of these aren't villages, and one of the prettiest villages isn't on the list. You should maybe do a list of the top 10 actual villages and another of the top 10 towns. Also I don't think Castle Combe is actually pretty. It's been sterilised for tourism. It is attractive and historical like everywhere in the Cotswolds, but not my idea of pretty.
What? Pennan doesn't get a mention as one of the settings for the iconic movie "Local Hero"? Shame! Otherwise pretty good choices: incidentally I picked Plockton and Tobermory as 1 and 2 before I even looked at this clip, but I have a sneaky advantage in that I live in the West Highlands.
