Hi! I'm Erin- A registered dietitian showing busy moms how to make time for health, even when they have no time for themselves while fighting diabetes in the process! The ONLY channel on RU-vid dedicated to moms working to lower blood sugar and fight against type 2 diabetes!
I'm a registered dietitian, certified diabetes educator, and mom of three! Since becoming a mom, I realized just how difficult it can be to take time for your own health while making sure to take care of the needs of your whole family. That's why I am so passionate about helping all moms find time for health, even when it feels like you have no time for yourself.

I just came from a food bank & they were handing out Prime hydration drinks, which I found really bizarre. I daresay ONE bottle won't affect people so I'll drink it but I was concerned enough to check this out. Thank your for your advice!
I can eat 15g oatmeal (old fashioned not the quick cook kind) and its ok on my 2 hour blood sugar but nothing else no other options. I'm on Basal insulin and dose before eating plus metformin still cereal is terrible for my blood sugar.
The company is slow about shipping this product. I really think they sent me a scale that was previously used. The app does not work properly over time. I do not recommend. Save your coins.
Help. I have 0stage 3 renal failure HTN diverticulitis and now type 2 diabetes. Yes I have other medical problems but the ones listed affect my diet the most please give me information. I'm sick of salad
Thanks for sharing your experience on using Lumen. I'd like to try it out, but am wondering if the device would still work after cancelling my membership? I want to use the device to measure my breath but don't need a nutrition plan or expert guidance long term.
From their site: If I cancel my membership, can I still use the Lumen device? “Yes, for Lumen devices purchased starting July 30th, 2023, after the cancellation comes into effect you’ll still be able to take unlimited metabolic measurements. However, you won’t have access to the Lumen membership experience, including personalized insights and guidance.”
That's a great question! The information Lumen provides is unique to you, so if you wanted to use it with more than one person/profile, you would just need to have separate app accounts to each use the device. I believe Lumen also has a Lumen DUO plan that can be used by 2 people :) I hope this helps!
*I had very high blood sugar I only managed to improve my health⭐ when I found a WONDERFUL treatment,❤❤ if you want to know about it, I left the video in the comment reply*
I’ve switched to monkfruit (pure) powder. I may try the liquid next time. I find it’s trial and error to get the right amount to hit that perfect “sweet spot”. 😊 I bought the Lakota at Walmart and was disappointed to see it had more erythritol than monk fruit. Unless it’s labeled non GMO I don’t want erythritol.
Theres a lot on youtube about watermelon relation to men on diabetes, ED, and prostate.,,, but never seemingly on the same vid cast. Im not sure exactly those 3 issues although related are affected by eating a watermelon smoothie.
I eat watermelon every day for breakfast. I lost 70 lbs in one year. A very light lunch, good supper. I stopped eating at all fast food restaurants. No french fries, no pizza, no processed anything. THIS IS A VERY GOOD VIDEO. I am 70 years old, had a heart transplant a year ago. God Bless you all.
I went and looked at some of the recipes recommended on the American diabetes Association website and I was rather shocked. I’m no nutritionist but these Recipes seem to be high carbohydrate meals. Just saying
I’ve noticed that once I started cutting out sugar. I started sleeping better & I feel more energized. I replaced sugar with stevia & monk fruit. Sometimes I’ll use unsweetened applesauce as a sweetener for my oatmeal or Cream of Wheat.
Anyway these pictures are not true cinnamon. True cinnamon are so easy to identify. If you are looking for true cinnamon, we might be able to help you.
