I am confused. I thought the new assembly with the connections on it went between the valve on the main propane tank and the regulator on the propane tank so that you could connect your 20 lb tank or 30 lb tank as neededor whatever you got so that it would bypass the main tank and still feed the appliances in the RV Plus you can still connect your grill and whatever else. that's how mines hooked up
Thanks for the video! It was nice and thorough and very helpful. Quick question you may not know the answer to. I've never bought any trailers before, so I'm not quite sure how this works. I've got a 2013 Chevy Cruze. I looked it up and I guess my max weight I can pull is 1000lbs. Would I be able to comfortably pull this trailer or should I look into something else? Thanks for any help you can give me!
I think it would be borderline - the trailer empty weights 800-900 lbs. If you traveled extremely light, you might make it OK on flat-lands. I think for any type of trailer, you might want to upgrade your Cruze to something like an Equinox or other small SUV.
wincrasher2007 found some on ebay, just hard to do since the only options you have are to buy ones with xt60 plugs on the battery which limits your choices a lot or to manual strip the wires and swap them out which is difficult for someone who isn’t very educated in this field or how to do it myself like at all. thank you for the reply though, helped me out a lot. earned my sub :)!!
Hello, I have the same grill and I did searched everywhere online and local stores for a griddle and I am not able to find one to fit the grill size. Yours looks so great ! Would you please list the web site or store where you purchased yours from? please? Thank you
As I would like to use my electric motorbike I unfortunately had to sell it. Here in the state of New York those electric scooters are prohibited and can not be used because the DMV can not register the truth that those laws are stupid but it is the reality here in this state. .
seriously people have no idea what these vans bring. just the after market stuff alone is worth more many Class C's! You should have started at 40k. somebody would have probably paid that!
Hi Wincrasher: I wasn't thinking of an Xplorer (I've been looking at newer models, or even converting my own), but the upgrades you've made are appealing. I haven't been able to find MPG data; what have you been getting with this? Thanks!
How many hours can you run the A/C off the inverter/battery bank at night? (Assuming a max. battery bank draw-down to 20%) Am I correct in assuming that the panels can support the A/C load during the day if pretty sunny? Please advise, and thanks.
I figure that the battery bank could run the AC for 3-4 hours. These are safe to run down to 10%. If you draw the pack down to 75-80%, recharging on solar in a single day is no problem. Here in California, I don't run the air conditioner much at all, so it's mostly microwave, coffee pot and the instant pot.
I'm running a test right now. With the AC on the inverter, running 72 degrees in eco mode, I'm seeing shy of 60 amps (including the refrigerator) on the Magnum display. Once it starts to cycle, load should drop 1/3 to 1/2. We'll see how long it can go, but I suspect 6-7 hours might be doable.
Hello there. I have the same van and a RU-vid channel. I did a short video pointing people to your craigslist. Of course if this is a problem let me know when I can take the video down, and I will certainly take it down when your ad is no longer posted. Take care and good luck.
Yeah, I did click show more first. A Queen bed is 60"x80". Are you suggesting that bed is more than 80" across? I'm 6'4" in my bare feet...I'm looking for a class B that I can stand in without bumping my head or having to sleep in the fetal position...but I don't think it exists...I was hoping on your wide body...
I know of no vans that will accomodate 6'4" or more headroom, other than the Super High Roof Sprinters which are now out of production. Here's a link to the Xplorer Spec Sheet - it says interior height is 6' 1" and the width is 88". Like I said, I put a queen sheet on the bed - the topper I ordered was for a queen and I didn't cut it down except the notches for the rear corners. drive.google.com/file/d/0B-6s9vclxgXjMHN3Vjg4cmRMOFE/view
I really wanted to find a turnkey solution but I guess I'm going to have to build out a cargo van. The high roof Ford Transits have 81.5" of vertical space in the back, so even with an inch or more of flooring and insulation, plus a couple inches of insulation on the ceiling, I should be good to go there without bumping my head. I'll have to have a front to back bed though, since the Transit is much more narrow than your van...wow..88" across! Too bad it wasn't a few inches taller, you made some very good mods...love the lithium battery setup. Good luck with the sale...you shouldn't have any problems.
Click "show more" for more info. It's located in Southern California - near Temecula. Think the height is 6' 2" inside. The bed is bigger than a queen, but I use a queen sheet on it and it fits.
Yeah I think its possible because it has some screws in the bottom where normally would be the pegs for the passenger..So I think you can buy them aftermarket and install them and you are good
Although this ebike has all these features and looks great and all the battery life sucks .. Mine on a full charge just work for a good 30 minute ride then back to a 6 hour recharge
Propane gas appliances in american homes and RVs usually operate at 11" wc pressure. So for me, yes I could add a connector to my home LP system and use this on the patio.
A review that included tongue weight, door width, tank sizes, look underneath, and a complete look under seating/beds. Cricket should send you a check! Very helpful, thanks.
