This is a review of my 2014 Little Guy T@G Max. This 2014 model has all the features of the 2015 model and is essentially identical. FEBRUARY 6, 2016 - THIS TRAILER WAS SOLD TO A NICE COUPLE FROM ATLANTA.
Thanks for the great overview, Wincrasher.... But mostly, THANK YOU for your excellent, in depth, video overview on the Oliver Elite! Wow, that was a great, detailed review of that little rig and I appreciate your time and effort very much. In fact, I contacted Oliver for further information and to let them know they owe you a debt of gratitude for your RU-vid submission. I was sorry to see that you had so many idiot comments that you decided to block all comments on that vid. (--and even sorrier that there were no follow up vids on that trailer's performance.) But still, a great, insightful, thoughtful and patient video from you. Thank you! One question at the risk of being tacky: what was the cost of the Oli, customized to your specs, out the door? I understand if you do not want to divulge, but I'm very curious. Thanks again, John
Mary, your replies are turned off, so I hope you get this. As I said in the video, I towed this before without the mods. It can be done, but it's not ideal. You need to carefully watch the tongue weight if you don't have a modified suspension.
Thanks for the video! It was nice and thorough and very helpful. Quick question you may not know the answer to. I've never bought any trailers before, so I'm not quite sure how this works. I've got a 2013 Chevy Cruze. I looked it up and I guess my max weight I can pull is 1000lbs. Would I be able to comfortably pull this trailer or should I look into something else? Thanks for any help you can give me!
I think it would be borderline - the trailer empty weights 800-900 lbs. If you traveled extremely light, you might make it OK on flat-lands. I think for any type of trailer, you might want to upgrade your Cruze to something like an Equinox or other small SUV.
This answered many more questions than the video on the Little Guy site. I noticed that you purchased a different teardrop, what was your reasoning and did you trade or sell the T@G?
I am picking up my 2016 T@G Max tomorrow. Was wondering the brand of heater you had in your T@G. I looked on Amazon but did not see it. Thanks for the great review.
Great Review! We're going to look at one this weekend . Thanks for being so thorough and insightful....looks like you've got a great set up! happy campin
