Only thing I don’t like about the vegan is the crease . It looks like when a car is wrapped and the wrap is sticking out all bubbly . Like a plastic layer
What you should have known before is, that these boots are crap for a lot of money. Produced in Thailand, bad leather, and bad melted down soles for around 200 bucks. Be happy, when they work well for a year or something. (The made in England version seems to be ok though)
The quality of this video is great! Thank you for your review. I just got my first pair of Doc Martens (Also got the vegan ones) and need to break them in now :D
Yeah it’s weird but it oddly works, especially if you’re wearing thicker no show socks. I wear them when they’ve been broken in…and I’m only referring to the 2976s. I’ll try wearing no show socks when I purchase the crazy horse leather 2976s soon.
I think the problem is when you mass produce anything you have problems and quality control issues. I just bought the slip resistant 1460 made in China and they are excellent quality for the price. I can’t find a flaw and they don’t look or feel cheap. Very comfortable by day 2.
Would you wear these with slacks to the office? Im in Fed government HR and need something comfortable and stylist to wear. Had to return my 1460s due to heel blisters
Yeah.. I work for the government and I wear them with slacks. If you want a pair of 1460s that won’t hurt you then think about getting a pair of their soft leather 1460s.
I started to wear the DOCS about a year ago. They are so comfortable. A friend said I have to buy a pair of Solavairs. Got them this week, Oxtail Blood Derby. I find the DOCS much more comfortable. Will not buy Solavair again.
Very well done video. I have some chukka utililty boots that are similar. These look great. As a diabetic I have to baby my feet. Since I'm on my feet most of the day on hard concrete, good footwear is a must. I'm getting a pair of these as soon as I can!
Just a quick comment on leather vs vegan leather. Most leather is sourced from animals raised for food which I understand is why people don't like it but people have been making clothes this way for centuries. Vegan leather is primarily made from plastics like polyurethane. If you're vegan I understand your choice of the vegan leather but personally, I think the environmental impact needs to be assessed. While there are certainly environmental and moral issues with the meat industry, plastics like those used to make shoes will never biodegrade. Leather is a byproduct and vegan leather is a manufactured product.
Could you tell me what the difference is between the 1460's and the 101 boots?. I know one has 8 eyelets and the other has 6. Do they wear different? etc.
Hi, could you tell me what the difference is between the Ambassador cashew 1460 boots and the Ambassador cashew 101 boots please?. Like do they wear the same, I know 1 has 8 eyelets and the other 6. Thanks
Thanks. I started taking it more seriously and I knew I could do better (especially editing). Stay tuned as it is going to get better the more I understand RU-vid
lol.. i was like that but i realized that they are always the main attraction in whatever I wear. They fit everything but they stand out so you'll have to get use to it
