Agreed!! You said it best. I really regretted going to this resort bc the beach was disgusting. I also got bites all over my body from mosquitoes to sand fleas & other insects. Stayed inside my room majority of the time bc I was so miserable
Thanks for watching. Adults can use the slides at the waterpark. As for having access to both resorts, I think the only way to do this would be to pay for a day pass, which would be pointless if you're already staying at the Splash, as I believe the Royalton next door is dated compared to the Splash, hope this helps.
There is nothing within walking distance. From what I believe, I think your looking about 30 mins in a taxi. The shop prices on the resort are very expensive
First started listening, couldn’t stand your glum accent. Slowly realised you are the best hotel reviewer I’ve ever watched hahaha! Wouldn’t normally subscribe to this sort of channel but now following. Go Gilbert’s!
Just returned after 4 days at this resort. I would say pack your patience when you arrive because this place definitely runs on Mexican time. Overall it’s a nice resort, but would I go back? The short answer is No. Main reasons: 1) Food mediocre and sometimes just lousy. The steakhouse was a big disappointment. Meat that was overcooked and almost inedible. Our waiter screwed up our order and we never saw him again to complain. 2) Main shows on the stage are overall meh. If you like lip syncing and weird choreography this may be for you though. 3) Careless housekeeping, forgetting to restock the fridge. Our k cup coffee maker didn’t work so we called for a replacement. They brought a regular coffee maker but no coffee. They never once took our dirty wine glasses from the room. 3) Shady areas are hard to come by. If you love the relentless sun then you will be happy here. My two cents.
Great review but when I go to read reviews on PH it’s ranging a 3.9 reviews with some horrible comments. I wish the reviews online matched your review in this video.
If you reverse the beech reviews which you said yourself could have a lot to do with the time of year that you visited there is not a great deal between the resorts. Think the overall score is at the end is definitely misleading due to this

Are there any waterparks which don’t have height restrictions. Do your research before booking rather than expect a free for all. The pool is in the sun - that’s a new one on me.
How did you get around their drone policy, I don't understand how they can control the air space by my understanding if I flew from a public road they cannot do much
