my channel will mainly be focusing on my 1976 Ford F-250 truck project and video's for bullet casting and test firing of cast bullet loads for all of my rifles and handguns,i will also be illustrating instructional video's on lead ingot making and finding lead material sources along with gun & shooting reviews, cooking video's as well as walking the creek trails and parks for low impact exercise we will also be putting up planting vegetable video's and picking out soil and seeds to start your own garden as well for the spring and summer months.
@@leadbullets4life I had a Bersa .380 in the early 90s and they came with wood grips. These ones are beautifully checkered dark walnut with red shellack finish.
@@leadbullets4life Older cars more often than trucks but yes here on Vancouver Island there are many seniors with good money so it seems to have many older vehicles, especially in the summer although the winters here are mild enough that it wouldn't hurt to drive an antique in the winter. Almost no snow!
same here brother viejo, my dad went to school at that old winery then a school now a winery, the old capri is no longer there..they finally turned it into tooth picks, everything that had dirt and trees is now a cement jungle, i remember passing a spanish radio station just before reaching the spillway..but again no longer standing, thanks4 stopping by my friend. have a great sunday.
I just saw hickock 45s video and basically youtube will be shutting down all shooting content so ill be switching my video content to day trips with my camper special.
Good to see you and the truck again. I get the feeling we'll be seeing quite a bit of it in the future. Nice. I would drive that Montery Hwy quite a bit back in the day. Definately hear that exhaust leak, But I'm sure you'll have that under control.
Another excellent update, good to see things working out. Fun having people ask about the truck I bet, meet tons of new people that way! Needs a couple old wooden apple crates in the back for misc. items!
I said the same once upon a time..a good buddy of mine own about 7 of these trucks at a time and the more i tried to hate them the more I became unjustified in my prejudice..i couldn't hate them any longer because as a C-10 guy i saw so many C-10's rusting away in peoples yards compared to F-100s of the same year I discovered the old fords stood up to water a weather better than the Chevy,s did, and the FE big blocks just keep on running year after year, my 360 is over 14 years old of long driving and starts up every time and not a puff of blue smoke come out when i stomp on it..there will always be a soft spot for the ole C-10s in my heart but for now i will give some love to the ole fords, thanks for your comment cory P.S do i think the ford motors are perfect? hell no they got their quirks too.
Excellent Update! Glad you found one to get your project going! Can't wait to see what little things you do to it. Needs an "Old School" gun rack for the rear window. You can put crutches, canes or fishing rods in it!
LOL😂 i thought of that too mike...but mike it was a joy and i was showing a gee of glee in the process, i,ll be doing weekend outdoor projects with it, right now I,m working on the tweaks light bulbs, speedo cable and carburator tuning ETC.....
THAT is a very nice truck! It appears to have a very straight body. Please no Earl Scheib or Miracle paint. Get a premier paint job if you repaint. Keep it on the lawn and use you BMW as a proctor just as it is now. 😉 Thanks for the ride! And backing into the drive should be safe right?
I think it’s crazy. I tried looking for a tool I saw before and now I can’t find it all. I find her these weird star punchers there was one that would make a perfect round one with maybe a little bit of an edge at the end now I can’t find it. I’m afraid these things are gonna make a chain fire.
Once in a great while the stars are aligned and a very useful RU-vid video drops from the heavens. This is one. For the record one needs the "Colt Short D frame grips" and I appreciate you sharing the information with us. Thanks!
Since you did not show us how you get a .375" ball crammed into a .357" inside diameter case. My '51 conversion is the original .375" bore and I use a heel bullet. Works fine shoots good.
the bore of a 1861 is .375, the round ball even smaller in diameter will still give it an A zone accuracy even at 25 yards like a smooth bore pistol since the round ball has very little bearing surface it will not tumble thus no key holing..but!! if you put a .357 diameter bullet in a .375" bore you will for surely get key holes, and due to you tubes strict policy of loading lead into a cartridge case i am forced to skip the reloading part of the video thank you for watching and your valued comment.
Nice video and informative. I understand double clutch, probably a dying breed. My dad taught me when I was 16 in the 60’s and driving our 41 ton and a half flat head loaded with pulp. So, I’m assuming soft lead, what lube if you remember? What about leading driving a 451 down a .440 bore? Thanks for your video. I’ll check out more of your videos possibly more info there. O.R.
Appreciate the video, my ejector spring broke in my 357 X after about 200 rounds. Was a little hesitant to install the replacement without seeing it done first. Thanks!
Oh my. I'm sorry for the your loss. This has been a trying time for you. You are in my prayers. As for the truck, oh man this is a sticky one. Classic car/truck enthusiasts may give quite a bit for it. Perhpas more than insurance. Let us know how it goes. And those pnumatics! Wow great gifts.
thank you my brother, as any hurdle life throws at us we hit them head on with resources that combat these issues so that we can move on and continue are routine on a day to day bases...thanks again my ole friend.
James it's also an honor to to hear from. You as well, it's been too long I know, the truck videos and projects have kept me from the shooting and reloading portion of my channels theme, working 12hrs days and being in my 60s now puts me in a limited capacity I'm still doing g videos but not at record pace like before..thanks again good friend.
@@leadbullets4life Shooting season for me is about to end any day due to the summer shutdown now so other vids as well as some summer cooking are sure to happen soon!
Take care brother...My apologies and deepest condolences from my family to yours! Take care of yourself. I will be here to support the channel whatever happens. I will be here!
utube will ding me for demonstrating trigger modifications it is a violation of their policy, so i can only illustrate by verbal instructions without taking the gun apart, so i removed the parkerizing off the moving and rubbing parts and it was able to allow the parts to make metal to metal contact vs parkerize to metal contact.
