Ninja Bunny Crochet came about through two of my great loves... crochet and my crazy little rescued bunny, Snowball... my ninja bunny. She is a lovable lighting-fast ball of fluff with attitude!!!
My mother taught me to crochet when I was a little girl over 40 years ago. It's been a passion of mine for a long time. I enjoyed making my children all kinds of things when they were young. Years ago I worked at local craft shows selling crocheted baby items, crossed-stitched sweatshirts, and plastic canvas items. Local craft shows have slowed a bit but my love for crochet has not.
I offer written patterns for purchase on Etsy and Ravelry. I have my own line of hand-dyed yarns for sale on my Etsy shop.

How do you keep your seam straight?? Mine keeps going up diagonally. I’ve frogged it several times attempting to fix the seam but I keep getting the same result 😫
The seam when crocheting in joined rounds will work up diagonally. To be honest, it’s the nature of crochet and multi color yarn seemed to hide the seam well enough, I don’t have the pattern worked up differently.
It’s just the nature of crochet. The way the rounds are worked the beginning stitch moves 1 stitch over each round however the stitch count doesn’t change. If you join each round with slip stitch and ch 1, then start the first stitch in same stitch you just slipped stitched into there will be a clearly visible diagonal seam on the project.
THANK YOU for giving the dimensions!! I’ve looked at several tutorials, but none have given measurements, just stitch counts. I crochet tightly, so need the size to make sure my tension is okay. I want to make one for a gift, but don’t have any ice cream pints on hand to measure against. Thank you again! This is the one I’m going to make. ☺️
i want to thank you from the bottom of my heart! I have done a few sweaters and your tutorial for it is spot on!!! I did it with no hiccups! Now....the hat....I have NEVER done anything with a magic ring....but i thought what the heck try it....i did it all thanks to your tutorial!!! Your amazing, keep them coming!!!
I absolutely love this pattern I have a extra cookie monster one so I am learning on how to make this hat with that yarn ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊 would love to see more patterns like this or other one hat wounder characters
I love your pattern. I tried a few others and didn't like them. I'm a loose crocheter so I used a smaller hook then I increased the chain by 2. I adjusted the buttonhole row to keep the button hole in the middle then did one extra decrease row in the flap because I like it larger. Even though I used a smaller hook the ch2 spaces seem too large so on the next case I'm going to use just one chain and see how that works. Thank you so much for your great tutorial and pattern
Does the type of yarn matter for this project? I have alot of yarn but none oof my pretty yarn is weight 4 and fully cotton. Does the insulation change?
Cotton absorbs the condensation well but I would think cotton blends would work nicely too. Acrylic might not absorb condensation as much but I would think it would still work fine for the cold.
I was dying to get the clover hooks. C I e heard so much about out them and I got a nice set on eBay for $30 comes with I think 9/10 hooks whereas on Amazon they are charging $42.00 or more !!
I was addicted To TEMU for about 5 weeks!! I got a yarn bowl with wooden crochet hooks and they are WONDERFUL !! I’ve stopped for now 😂😂😂 Tfs lovely things u got
I like the way you explain as you continue crocheting. I’m a beginner and a visual learner. The way you explain is very understandable and I like that. You are an awesome teacher and I like you 😊. Thank you very much and I will be watching this a few more times and then, when I think I’m ready, I will crochet alongside with you. Thank you again🙏🥰🩷
My set of Athena's Elements hooks didn't come with a case, but they were quite inexpensive (only $15 on Prime Day). They are my go-to travel hooks, nearly as comfortable as the Clover Amours, but inexpensive enough that I wouldn't be heartbroken if I were to lose one on vacation.
I just received a faux leather bag bottom in an issue of Simply Crochet -- but that issue cost $5.00 with my subscription (and would have been at least triple that amount if purchased at Barnes & Noble). The black handle crochet hooks remind me of some Tulip hooks I've seen online (don't own any myself). The Clover Soft Touch dupes look spot-on. The hook set with the solid color handles look like a dupe of Clover Amours. If I had to choose 1 or the other, I'd probably prefer mm sizing over US letter sizing to be printed on hooks, as hook manufacturers often differ slightly on exactly what metric size a particular US letter size hook should be. I own a set of Clover Amour dupes (made by Athena's Elements & purchased on eBay a couple of Prime Days ago), and they are my go-to travel hooks, as they are comfortable to use, but inexpensive enough that I won't be heartbroken if I lose one on vacation.
This was easy to follow! Thank you! I made my bunny and hung it in middle of a framed doily I made. It’s hung on my front porch. I made my bunny to look like my Black Tortie Holland Lop. So I made one ear flop and the other halfway flop. I put Medium to large Brown shiny smooth buttons for eyes. 🥰 Totally love! This was my first Rabbit project and will be doing more but in different colors and maybe even gifts. I subscribed 👍🏼!!!
