I am still struggling with target audience.. I know what stones and jewelry I like, and enjoy working with, but I cant figure out how to find people who like what I like

If I was making jewelry for rock climbers, I would make a functional key clip pendant. Make it gold and more streamlined. Something that may not look exactly like a key clip, but functions just like one. I think it would look really cool, and it'll be very functional.

For many years I had no focus beyond saying “I want to build a successful jewellery brand.” But without an actual PLAN and STRATEGY to get me there, I wasted many years fooling myself into believing I was working on my dream. But in reality I was having fun making jewellery but was turning a blind eye to the important tasks that I should have ACTUALLY been doing to create a business I could live off. ✨ So my question to you is, what are you putting off because it’s not fun and might be hard, but is actually super important? Love this video!! Thank you for sharing.. I am a complete beginner and I am struggling with the sawing technique…😢 do you have any advice on what saw blades to use for different thickness of metal sheet? You cut through your metal like butter 😂❤

Do you ever feel like the algorithm is against you? Or It’s not giving you the AMOUNT OF VIEWS you hoped for? Or nobody is engaging with your content? What if I tell you it’s NOT 100% the algorithm’s fault, but 100% on YOU and YOUR CONTENT. You see people are so fast to blame the algorithm when things go bad but they never think… “What if it’s actually my content?” or “Maybe my content wasn’t to my target audience‘s liking” or “Maybe I don’t understand who my target audience is and how to speak to them?” I challenge you to think critically and to see how you can improve. My limiting belief is that I dont deserve to do something I really want to do - especially if it costs money. Growing up in my family as the second of seven children, I was told the the money dance lessons would cost ($1 a week) could be better used for milk for the family. The message, in my young mind, was that there would always be something more important others needed, and my desire wasn't worthy.

My limiting belief as a jeweller is not being confident in my creations. I feel like they're not worth selling because they're not "good enough" Btw i love your videos and all the advice you give ❤

With edits/ready to go: What is your LIMITING BELIEF? I know, as a jeweller there are things that HOLD us back when it comes to running our businesses as well as in our personal lives too. And we shouldn’t be ASHAMED of having these beliefs, because sometimes this drives us to ACHIEVE OUR GOALS, but sometimes they hold us back instead. A quote from the movie Inside out 2, “Sometimes we have to let go of the past to make room for the future" totally agree!! Just like I had to let go of the idea that I was not deserving of money. I wouldn't be sitting in Bali by the pool writing this if I had not let go of that idea!! Comment down below with what your limiting belief is..

Now we talking, moving to bali will help your mood and mental health it will also inspires you… good weather, the beautiful beaches….it’s way better than Brussels, i lived there for only 5 months and i find it so hard, always rainy gray….i was very inconfortable…

If you want to achieve 6 figures in your jewellery business, in-person markets are a necessary component in the beginning… …but markets are not the ONLY component needed for reaching 6 figures, and if you build your business correctly, you won’t need markets to SUSTAIN 6 figures 😉 Ultimately, you want to build your jewellery business in a way that you can SCALE your brand without needing to be physically present. Here's my take on it - the reason why some artists are so successful is because they always think their present work can be better than the last. Its not about art school, its an inborn trait we artists have. The only way to overcome this is this - get a business manager. Money people are different, and Artists are different (example - Steve Jobs and Tim Cook). One cannot function without the other. Now someone pls send me 50 dollars for writing all this..

Things I learnt at Art school that I had to un-learn: It’s funny how we can go through a whole creative degree for 4 years to learn a skillset. But in that skillset one of the things that I didn’t realise I was being taught was how NOT TO SELL anything creative that I made! Comment below if you too had this experience? Last week we got together with the community and to talk about AI and they were blown away by some of it’s capabilities they had no idea about!! Una said “I use chat GPT quite often, mostly for writing purposes, product descriptions, ig captions, just to get the idea going. Hello I have a quick question. In one of your videos you mentioned that you have a manufacturer for your jewelry as it frees time for other important business matters. In looking at your website it states ”Handmade Jewelry”. Is it or is it not handmade? If it’s indeed manufactured by a third party, why claim that it’s handmade? Thanks

Well, Megan, make it set for "any occasion". Shorter chain with smaller pendant with informal shirt, longer chain with larger pendant for more formal dress, where more neck is visible... with corresponding earrings... You are wellcome...

This did NOT happen overnight. Building the jewellery business of my dreams required me to learn a LOT of concepts, and take a LOT of action. There were cornerstone pieces of a successful jewellery business that I was missing for so long, and once I wholeheartedly committed to implementing these pieces… My business took off. Thank you so much for sharing your story. Especially the question: Do I want a jewelry hobby or a jewelry business? I hadn't really thought about it that way. I have been learning to make jewelry for the past year and a half, and I am enjoying the process. I am retired and I do want and enjoy having a jewelry hobby. I make a lot of gifts and a few commissions. My friends keep pushing me to make it a business. I really don't want that. I can now articulate that better.

Your USP is what sets you apart and gives you an edge in marketing and sales. It is what YOUR BRAND UNIQUELY sells… a SPECIALIZED flavour that is desirable, and different from other brands. My own jewellery brand for example is all about sustainable Scandinavian minimalism. And I have raving fans that LOVE my aesthetic and style and my brands values. If you struggle to CLEARLY identify a USP that sets your brand apart, you may not be standing out enough from other jewellers to attract loyal fans. Identifying a crystal clear USP is actually something I teach you EXACTLY how to do in my online course, the Consistent Sales Academy.
