4 years is noting I been here for decade Ahwatukee appear to be in south mesa a dump in views that is why i live in north phoenix I'm closer to sun city east & west deer valley & Glendale AZ & PEORIA the 2nd whitest outside of Scottsdale I'm just 2 or 3 mi from northwest Scottsdale.
Auto insurance is higher, the health insurance struggle between doctor groups vs. insurance coverage. Loss qualtify of life by having to stay indoors during the summer months. Yes, you get screwed by the self centered, self serving golf. The migration of the stupid CA people to phoenix that keep pricing higher because they will pay it instead of demanding lower competitive costs. East cost vs. west cost is not close to cost of living. Do the research yourself.
Realty is you’ll have to stay inside during a stretch no matter where you’re living. Sounds like it’s time for you to relocate out of the area if you don’t like it
I am going to Phoenix next week for work and to visit some friends. I will be staying there for 8 days (August 5-13), so I should have a sunshade for my car and a water bottle and I should be good? Oh and I will be driving there from San Diego.
Unless you are an outdoors person you won't like it not much to do here and the drugs are legit taking over only place the druggies aren't taking over is the desert
@@movingtophoenixarizonaeric 2F- you can't feel any difference in triple digits & sunny too little to no shade if not willing acknowledge that in this desert wasteland you're not going survive vary long in the desert young one.
@@movingtophoenixarizonaeric I know I been down sent 2015 what was trying to explain to your Germanic blood during the winter & fall construction companies work during the daytime. but the summertime thy move there shifts to 2nd & 3rd shift Germanic blood because it just too hot to work in the afternoon. it is not like Nebraska in the summer you yourself being a Norse Germanic we do we do not work vary will in extreme heat. even more those there more Latin then in NE we still make up the majority here in the desert wasteland.
so, another Nebraska move down here I been here sent 2015 grow up Lincon live in Omaha for 14 years then move to the metro in 2015 & still here today still don't look back to my move.
We take our pets to a veterinarian in Queen Creek and recall back when it was farming community. Not sure where all the water will come from to support future growth, but that growth still keeps coming.
NOTICE HE NEVER MAKES VIDEO OR TALKS ABOUT THE WEST VALLEY.. EVERY ARIZONA VIDEO CREATOR ALWAYS TALKS ABOUT THE SAME EAST VALLEY, GILBERT, MESA.. etc 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎
Chandler! I love living in Chandler. It is a great place to raise a family. Chandler is really well run. Thanks for the great video. Proud of my hometown.
This was very informational and helpful in solidifying my decision to move to Arizona. Thank you for taking the time in explaining all the fun things Tempe has to offer. I can’t wait to make the move from MN to AZ!
@@movingtophoenixarizonaeric No Way! SKOL all the way!!! Wow, this world is so small sometimes. I’m currently in Rochester but lived in Richfield near Minneapolis for a time. Do you have any recommendations on safe apartment living for young professionals in the Tempe area? By the water looks lovely. I love to stay busy in the city. Thank you!
No one should ever move to Phoenix without first spending at least a week in Phoenix in the summer when the temperature can be 110 to 115. Can you take it?
i love spending as much time as i can in lakeside-pinetop during the summertime its a whole other world up ther especially during monsoon season with the cool fresh clean air mixed with the clean scent of pine trees it didn't even got into the 70's today because of all the rain today
Water conservation is a huge part of the city’s plans - watering grass can get a little high, so it really varies on use :) Overall the city uses the same amount as they did in the 1950s!
Phoenix uses the same amount of water as they did in the 1950’s Phoenix is leading the way for water conservation in the SW To build new homes, developers have to prove they have a water source for the neighborhood for 100 years
I was born and raised in Phoenix. Lived in Central just across the street from the BMO Building now. I have now moved north to Prescott. And the difference is remarkable in terms of pure Dry Heat and pure Humid Heat made by industrialization. Take care of your health guya
@@movingtophoenixarizonaeric It's overcrowded, too hot, urban sprawl, crime, too corporate, short on water, too hot....You are in real estate and that's why you are plugging it.
@@PrettyGoodLookin I have been telling people how amazing Phoenix is before I switched careers. I switched to real estate bc of how much moving here has changed my life for the better
People live on the sidewalks in Phoenix downtown. Heatstroke and death happen when your body stays hot too long. 100 days in a row where the temperature does not go below 100 degrees. There are public cooling stations open in the summer.
I worked construction in Phoenix for 40 years. It's hot but I've never heard of what you're talking about. Stay in shape and off drugs and life is easier.
I like the stability of a block built house which seems to be rare in the new house market in the valley. A well built house in an older neighborhood is where I would expect to pay a premium over the new house market. Don't buy a house near a high traffic area or the main arterial roadways. The public transit system is expanding and improving, it is safe and economical to use.
Moving from Santa Barbara CA to the Phoenix area was one of my better decisions. Once you're half a mile from the beach you're in the desert and all the above apply.
My family has been in Phoenix since 1870. You can drink all the water you want and still be dehydrated; you need electrolytes. Pedialyte is not just for kids, drink a quart a week if you are feeling dehydrated and water is just not doing it for you. Also, prickly pear fruit has heat shock proteins and will lower your body temperature. I pick them and juice them. Stay hydrated my friends. There is a towel called "Frog Tog" they stay wet and cold, wear that around your neck to stay cool. Eat cold food in the summer and hot in the winter. We have dry winters, so keep hydrating even if you don't feel thirsty. I have encountered lots of people with heat stroke, if you feel the slight bit uncomfortable, get out of the heat, it will hit quick. Nice video and welcome to Arizona.
Yuo forgot the easiest tip. Go away. Go back to where you're from or maybe go to another state entirely. We're full, running out of water, not built for the density, and don't want you voting and changing the community. We were good before you got here, so consider leaving if you don't like it and are motivated to try to change how it is here.
More rules: Oven mitts in the car for driving, and Ice water. You may actually find yourself pouring it on your head. :) Don't get into any fights over the one tree in the parking lot for shade! :) Pay attention to "excessive heat " warnings - no outside activity! Sedona is ruined due to so many new people ... go elsewhere. 🌵 🦎 🌞
Be careful not to drink an excessive amount of water as this will dilute your electrolytes and people have died from this. Good idea to keep some electrolyte drinks on hand.
