Thanks so much for featuring my Unova team! Was definitely a really cool thing to find out when opening RU-vid 😭 I’ll try to explain my team as best as possible. First off, Mandibuzz isn’t great. She’s there cause she looks cool, and I kind of wanted a flyer that was out of the norm. Her hidden ability came in clutch a couple of times though. Moves for her consisted of Faint Attack, Fly, U-Turn, and I pivoted between Bone Rush and Rock Tomb. Eelektross’ moves were Thunderbolt (lvl 44 as an Eelektrik), Dragon Tail, Acrobatics, Fire Punch. Lucario had Aura Sphere, Ice Punch, Shadow Claw and Dragon Pulse. Gigalith was actually a crazy mon. I got it as an in game trade in Route 7 in exchange for an Emolga I got from a moving grass spot earlier in the game. THIS THING HAD AN ADAMANT NATURE! Moves consisted of Rock Slide, Stealth Rock, Iron Head and Bulldoze (until I got Earthquake) Roselia was my setup character, along with Gigalith. She had the Nature Cure ability with a +Special Attack nature. Her moves were Toxic Spikes, Venoshock for stab and double damage on Toxic Spike switch, Shadow Ball, and Giga Drain. Arcanine ALSO had an Adamant Nature AND the Intimidate ability, which has to be a ridiculously low chance of encountering. This had me jumping when I noticed. His moves were indeed Flamethrower, Thunder Fang, Extreeme Speed and Crunch. Overall, the MVPs were for sure Lucario (The Dragon Slayer) and Roselia (Switch, I Dare You)!
Arcanine is always one of my go-to Pokémon in Pokémon BW2 My Black 2 Team was Samurott, Ampharos, Lucario, Arcanine, Flygon and Sawsbuck (because I didn’t any other ideas in mind).
Whoa! That's actually like, super close to the team I completed the game with the first time! I had Samurott, Arcanine, Lucario, Flygon, Sawsbuck, but instead of Ampharos, I was shuffling around a liepard, zororark, and finally went with Volcarona.
Cool team. I love using Arcanine in Black 2 and White 2, such a great Pokemon! Talking about great Pokemon, I recently replayed Alpha Sapphire with mega Alakazam as my ace. The team was very unusual but also super fun to use: - Torchic: I love how cute Torchic is so I decided not to evolve it as a little challenge. Torchic was still good enough to deal with Pokemon weak to fire with its Flamethrower, even beat Steven's Skarmory on its own. - Breloom: Since I didn't evolve Torchic I decided to finally use this cool fighting type on my team. - Alakazam (mega): MVP of the team, carried the team on its back the whole time and especially in the championship battle. - Sharpedo: Just a cool water type that I love using in Hoenn, great as always. - Wigglytuff: Just wanted to use it over other (better) fairy types for some reason. It was a good special wall and support for the team. - Rhydon (with Eviolite): Second member of this team that I didn't evolve because I prefer their design over the evolutions but Eviolite Rhydon is actually pretty good anyways so that was nice. I think sometimes not fully evolving all your Pokemon can be as much fun (if not more) than always going for the best and strongest option available, it's also more challenging. I loved using this Torchic team in this playthrough, it was a blast.
currently on my first white 2 team Serperior - Leech Seed - Coil - Leaf Blade - Return Sigylyph - Fly - Air Slash - Psychc - Psybeam Lucario - Swords Dance - Extreme Speed - Close Combat - Bone Rush Scolipede - Swords Dance - Rollout - Poison Jab - X-Scissor Ampharos - Thunder Wave - Thunder Bolt - Power Gem - Charge Beam Jellicent - Surf - Brine - Shadow Ball - Recover and I agree with what mystic said about how diverse white 2 is, I actually plan on making multiple teams after finishing the game so I can have fun with all the pokemon and all their moves and set ups hehe
I've used Samurott (kyohei) Scrafty Unfezant Sawabuck Magmortar Crustle This was and is my most favourite team ever, i started a new game just to use sawsbuck and he was so worth this entire playthrough, leech sees, horn leech, jump kick and double edge with the Big root item meant i never had less than 90% of my health even after repeated double edges, and sometimes i just ran hyper beam because leech seed healed me a lot, and crustle with shell smash obliterated every Pokemon even if it was 10 levels higher than it😂 In black, Gigalith Emboar Leavanny Zebstrika Swanna Krookodile In Pokemon X Delphox Heliolisk( Surf hm) Golurk ( fly hm) Vivillon ( compound eyes/ hurricane/sleep powder/ quiver dance/ bug buzz) Barbaracle Mienshao
My team for BW2 was Samurott, later replaced with Starmie (I don't really like any of Unova starters tbh so I just went with my favorite type), Arcanine, Lucario, Galvantula, Haxorus and Krookodile. Honestly I can't remember how I got around with Fly, probably I used a specific mon that always got boxed after the Fly usage.
Looks strong indeed. Funnily enough half of this team are coincidentally pokemon also owned by Cynthia , or even two thirds if you replace Unfezant with its version exclusive counterpart , Braviary.
God this team actually brings me back to my own last run through of BW2. That team was almost hilariously stacked. Serperior, Volcarona, Electivire, Lucario, Haxorus and (By some arceus dammed miracle) A shiny Azumarill. Yeah that team was memorable for that last one alone.
Here's my team for X and Y that I'm currently doing: You can put almost anything as a placeholder, but this is the final 6 Tentacruel- One of my top 10 favorites and one I feel doesn't get enough love. Good stats on the special side for a playthrough and counter fairy types. Pangoro- A mon I've never used and he just looks badass. Granted a 4x weakness to fairy, but we have answers for those Magnezone- Another top 10 mon for me whos strong and has only 1 weakness. That's special attack Stat isn't something to be messed with. Chandelure- A ghost fire type who I've never used and I needed a fire type. Staraptor- Gotta have a flyer, and it's the best regional bird. Nuff said. Garchomp- if I'm playing a game gen 4 or later and I can use a Garchomp, I'm using garchomp. All in all I'm really liking this team, granted you don't get the full team until later in the game, but still one I'm excited to use.
I think the team I used for sword was pretty fun to play with. It was cinderace, dragapult, aegislash and then, the one I am mostly sure about (been a while since I opened my first save so I kinda forgot) is dubwool, the one I am somewhat certain is togekiss and the one I am least certain is falinks. I think what happened was I used falinks up until the very late game and then swapped it with a legendary and now I can’t remember if it was zacian or eternatus cuz I forgot when the game lets you capture them
I just recently beat my Black 2 team. My Pokémon team was Samurott, Lucario, Arcanine, Flygon, Sigilyph, and Eelektross. Also, Mystic here is a Pokémon team I used to beat Pokémon Silver. Tobirama the Lake of Rage shiny Gyarados as HM slave 4. Kenya the Fearow for early flyer.
My W2 line up was: - Serperior - Excadrill - Zoroark - Swanna - Chandelure - Haxorus I doubted this team before 6th gym and I thought that this team would underperform until E4. But they suprised me. Not a dominating game vs Iris but these mons clutch when needed. I shouted when I beat her. I am happy, and proud with this team.
Ultra Moon My first one was a Nuzkocke and since I didn't want to reuse my Moon team, I immediately boxed the litten as soon as I caught a Zorua. The rest of my team was Glaceon, Wishiwashi, Alolan Exeggutor, Oricorio Baile Style, and Claydol
My B2/W2 team is Samurott, Lucario, Arcanine, Leavanny, Krookadile, and Driftlim. One issue with the team was no easy flying counter, but Lucario had ice punch and Driftlim has thunderbolt
This is one of my favorite teams that I've ever done for a Black & White run. I know it isn't the best, but it was a team of monsters! Team: Samurott- Surf, Ice Beam, Dig & Return Lucario- Aura Sphere, Dragon Pulse, Ice Punch & Calm Mind Arcanine- Flamethrower, Thunder Fang, Crunch & Bulldoze Flygon- Earth Power, Dragon Claw, Rock Slide & Fly Beheeyem- Psychic, Shadow Ball, Energy Ball & Thunderbolt Drapion- Poison Jab, Crunch, X-Scissor & Ice Fang
When I played white 2 I had Samurott, Braviary, Arcanine, Magnezone, Zoroark and Flygon and it absolutely cleaned house in the elite 4 being only lv55/56 or lower
I love how they fixed the emolga trade from BW, so instead of getting emolga on a route its already avilable on you get a gigalith without the need to trade someone for it
My b2w2 team was samurai, lucario, arcanine, the special braviary, flygon, and galvantcula(only cause I got tired of looking for tynamo) it also had compound eyes
my last team on white 2 was Umbreon, Lapras, Leavany, Braviary, Lucario, and Darmanitan on black 2 it was Samurott, Arcanine, Lucario, Shiny Metagross, Dragonite, and Roserade (as of defeating benga)
Lucario probably had Brick Break because every other Fighting move it can learn is in the Level 50-60 range, or locked in a post-story area except Rock Smash
I won't deny it's really hard to NOT use Riolu, when I got my japanese black 2 copy in I got Lucario before the first day ended. My Go-to team on W2 is usually Samurott, Lucario, Darmanitan, Flygon, Sigilyph, Galvantula. two mixed attackers, 2 phyiscal attacks and 2 special attackers.
This might not be my final team, as I just started a new playthrough of white 2, but the team im thinking of using is Samurott, Krookodile, Braviary, Chandelure, Lucario, and Gavantula
I completed my Pokemon Black 2 run a week ago. I don't mind keeping my starter oshawatt cause it came in clutch many times. Other members were Crobat Hearcross Magnezone/jolteon Arcanine Flygon Definitely a solid team I'd say

My team in white 2 was Samurott, Lucario, Hexorus, Krokodile, Electrovire and Braviary. I easily knocked down the Elite fours and helped in entire game. You guys can try it out too. In PWT champions my team was Aerodactyl with Focus sash, Infernape with item rocky helmet and Salamance with dragon gem. Pretty much annihilated the champions and the Gym leaders in world leaders lobby.

Agreed. gen 5 games were the best in the franchise. I hope they do remakes for BW on the Switch 2 so that i have the original adventure on the latest console. Because they don't sell the Nintendo DS and the original games anymore at the shops.

My favorite BW2 team I use is: Samurott Volcarona Excadrill Eelektross Haxorous Sawsbuck Volcarona is strong but man Ember and Signal Beam stab for most the game is a little underwhelming. I do teach it Psychic though for coverage
Now i want to replay black/white and the sequels I remember choosing arcanine and magmortar for my fire types Ampharos, magnezone or electavire for electric types Lucario or heracross for fighting Water types were way too later in the game but i had starmie, lapras and floatzel
