Hmm, a yeller who use his head voice too? I don't control pitch correctly in my chest voice (use a lot of compression and power quite early on in my range, rather than stretching my vocal folds in a more relaxed way) and am more relaxed in my head voice which I use too. Can't find a way to use the top half of my chest voice without power. If you want me quiet, I have to lose the top octave+ of my chest voice. This means no vibrato too.
I come to RU-vid looking for help. I can match pitch with scale exercises singing all the vowel pronunciations; ah, a (long), ooo, o (long), eee (long e), e (short), i, etc, etc. I do this all the time practicing and I do quite well singing each note on pitch. When I play a some songs with a band, I do not sing the correct note in the chord. I don't know if it is a memory thing or a muscle memory thing. Do you have any suggestions to sing the correct note in chords of a song?
Thank you so much for all of your videos and your knowledge! Your exercises are really helpful and combined with your lovely personality they make practising a lot of fun too! I just wanted to ask if i can also do a "na" instead of the "ugly a" because the "ugly a" is really difficult for me (probably because i haven't done it before..). Thank you and many greetings from Austria
This isn't peak halford. Peak Priest, yes, but not peak Halford. You should listen to pretty much anything from the Fuel for Life tour (Dallas was the recording) if you want peak live Halford or his studio magnum opus: Blood Red Skies
We went to this concert called Operation Rock and Roll at Irvine CA back in 1991, Priest was playing, open air concert. We left. The sound was loud, but we didn’t leave because it was a bad concert, Rob’s vocals were intense, healthy. The loudness of the venue combined with Rob’s high pitched ..we had to leave or right now I’d be using hearing aid for sure. Armored Saint, Dangerous Toys, Judas Priest, Metal Church. That was the lineup. We were only for Judas Priest and Metal Church. I just realized ..what a name bands combination !!
they tuned the guitars to blend in with his scream to make the music as perfect as possible and that's why its so good. judas priest is the god of metal
There is no equal to Dimash. Period. Each song of Dimash is different and normally introduces or brings into it more than one striking element. Besides his too obvious vocal abilities, his performance level (including mic control) and stage presence level is of the highest level. Dimash turned thirty in May this year, 2024. Thank you, Julia, for introducing your friend to Dimash. This such a lovely and cool reaction.❤ Next stop, "Olympic" followed by "SOS" and "Stranger".
It takes a lot of work for me to overcome the embarrassment of making noise in my room cause i live with my parents, and singing by myself has always been hard. I hope these exercises can help me overcome the mental barrier of having a strong singing voice and being loud, along with physically improving it. Thanks a lot!😊
Me: trying to do the excercises Her: do this you can try this its ok if theres this dont do this, can you hear the thing? Sorry but do this and its ok play around with this!
