It's gotten this bad because the game was never originally designed to get to this era of vehicles. The Korean war period was supposed to be the peak. The maps for air and ground were set up for dogfights and old fashioned tank slug fests, we are now in the era of one shot one kill precision weapons systems that are considered short range when, in the case of air, used within ten miles (about 16km) and in the case of tanks 1.5km.
The fact that spawn camping is even a thing shows how shit these maps are. A well balanced map doesn't allow players to even move into the other spawn, let alone see into it. Not to mention all the other crap that's wrong with the game, like the several hundred hour grind and pay to win bullshit.
I am disappointed that he said that he was going to research every vehicle in the American factory, and then started 75% of the way up the tech tree, rather than making an alt account starting from the P-26 like a good honest God-fearing American
Personally I like close range maps a lot more. I can rely on my ears instead of thermals and a rangefinder I dont have yet. Simply just sniping and not being able to push an objective because of sniper lines just seems too braindead of gameplay for me. I need to think about how I move tactically
aint no good way to fix it realy, make the maps big so we can snipe and it becomes only sniping, keep em as is and top tier remains a point and click adventure.
besides the spawn to spawn comparison being bad i do agree with all your points. personally I would rather play vietnam over poland though as that map is straight ass in anything above 5.0
you found the spawn to spawn bad? i just choose the 2 closest points(that i know of)😃 where you could look into the enemy's spawn. granted i agree it is not perfect and i am open to constructive criticism 😀, is there any way i could of made it a fairer comparison? 😀
@@Jerrycanooo the path you took for the g4 spawn felt unrealistic as why would a player come out of spawn and go sharp left following the road instead of crossing through the open field? Surely if they wanted to go left side of the upper area they would have just spawned in g2 right? Sorry if it comes off as rude as its not my intention. Great vid none the less!
@@egg3666 the reason i did that is if you start going over the field you can get shot by light tanks pushing the b point usually. so you never make it up the hill. But definitely a fair criticism😀
@@Jerrycanooo i think i might have gotten confused then because at 4:11 you made it sound like it was right out of spawn as you say "whoever reaches critical map points first" then transitions to who can get into a spawncamping position. And from what you just said could be countered later in the match by people pushing/holding the middle B point. Corrent me if I'm misunderstanding something as I thought it was referring to the start of the match.
i still don't understand why people are crying about fox3's? - if you have an issue with 8 fox 3's slingers, just learn how to play against arh missiles - if the teamsize is too big, switch the button We're finding ourselves in the days we've all been waiting for and it is AGAIN just like when they introduced IRCCM missiles, everybody crying they're too OP, no just learn how to play against them. Finally hugging deck is not making you invincible anymore. The only issue there is right now in the game is literally and only skill. If you find yourself crying, go back to lower br, no one is holding you back. Literally you can go on the internest and look up videos from inside the jets in ukraine. ALL THEY DO IS SLING MISSILES ON SHIT THEY CAN'T SEE. It's what what the missiles WERE DESIGNED TO DO
Ever since i heard about the mention of Fox 3 missiles almost a year back, i figured this was gonna be the outcome, a spammy mess thats near impossible to stock grind We're getting to the point where Gaijin needs to either tweak BRs based on installed vehicle mods, or make important things like missiles stock included
i never said i was fine with the r-27er being top dog for so long. i complained about alot, just like I did about sweden being given Skyflash DF for the longest time. for me it simply boils down to too many people per match. if there was 8 people it would be fine as there would be more breathing room.
Im having fun with it playing the older planes that got new missiles, but Im dreading doing any stock grinds now. Seems like its going to be actual torture.
@@D4nger_CLO5E it is good that everyone has equally good missiles. my issue is that this brings us back to when the -14 was added wit the crazy fox-3 spam. now the issue isent te missiles but rather the team size imo
Update is fine... if you have any understanding of dodging these missiles, then you will easily live to get into closer combat. This update literally got rid of fur balls (which everyone complained about) at top tier, yet everyone still conplains.
the removal of the furball is great, but there are other ways gajin could have dont that. adding more bases, making it so ground targets gave more rp etc. dont get me wrong this was the next logical change. its just that airRB at its core is stil tdm and while the furball is gone. it has only been replaced by people firing of 6 missiles in rapid succession.
i wish people would stop complaining about the new FOX3's people where begging for them to be added welcome to modern combat if you don't like it go play cold war jets and WW2 props.
it's a game which is supposed to be fun. If you find it fun to press 3 buttons in order to shoot a missile at a target 50km away and get easy kills then you're just a brain dead idiot who lacks any other skill.
Yeah! If they cant operate the Radar and stuff, things even I on controler with every button having 6 functions can do, they should be quiet and play mid tier.
@@VectorGhost no you’re wrong small player count per match, means the maps we already have will feel bigger, and the first time people where screaming about”map size” we got bigger maps witch fixed NOTHING…
@@D4nger_CLO5E I agree, there the same ppl who are complaining about multipathing being changed, instead of using there voices for something useful for the game, like reducing the amount of players in top tier… ridiculous
@clarkhustle I'm a sim pilot, and top tier air sim isn't an exception. The more players there are in a server, the more chaotic it becomes. Not just that either, If player count is more in favor of a individual team, there ends up being a sweep, and you'll just have guys pushing spawns with they're new fox 3s, making it hell for the other side
@@xx_dk_xx7 that's developer problem to solve. Teems capacity should be limited to 6-8 players and it will be fine. And don't play smaller maps like Tunisia and you'll be fine
there was an exploit which you could do to quit matches on maps you dont like without map-ban or getting a crewlock yeah, exiting a match without getting a crew lock, how cool is that?
