That's the bass reflex port and it's not connected to just one speaker , it's just placed beside it but the bass port is connected to the vacuum in the cabinet
Thank you for a very informative video. A tad more light would have helped but I got all the info i needed. For those that didn't pay 'close enough' attention: The battery is in the cup opposite the one with all the electronics: The buttons, the charging port, and the light.
I know this is a old video but i would like to know if you happen to find a solution to about this specific model..A way to reset the charge cycle counter on the circuit board..the underneath circuit board. Sony claims there is no such things and their part reseler claims..from sony. That the battery can not be replaced and the whole speaker need to be changed.. I changed my battries with brand new 8650 cells 2800 mah from Sony..and still they wont fully charge..if i charge them externaly. The issue is resolved..
I have bought many bt speaker and this is often their fate. Got this one several years back and has stood the test of time. My curiosity almost got the better of me, but I like this Sony unit so much. Thanks to your video, this one will keep on playing.
these things sound great in my opinion but it's not worth dealing with the various issues that sprout up. they are not very durable at all, pretty shitty tbh
i think im gonna do a teardown of my scuffed up green model and spray paint it black. also i need a new rubber seal for the ports. does anybdy know where i can get one?
Gracias
Thank you for your video, which provided the basis of my understanding on how to replace the battery. Tricked up a bit with the screw underneath the outer cap however on re-viewing realised the significance of this step. Appreciate the time take to prepare and post this. Cheers ....
Saturado....
I'm more interested how to put the ear pads back in. I'm planning to make my own using the genuine cowhide, and replace these faux-leather = false leather = PU leather = plastic sh!t with something that will actually last and feel pleasant in the contact with my ears / skin. can we just push the ear pads in, or do we need to twist them in? or push the edges all around with some plastic or wooden pop stick or something? do you have a video how to push the ar pads back in?
Thanks for the video My battery is starting to fail , what side is the battery on ( left side the power button side) or the right side? So I don't have to do unnecessary tear down.
I have a problem with this speaker when I use it with the cover the bass sound sounds distorted but I take it apart and use it without the cover it sounds perfect without bass distortion. What could be the problem?
