@pablosbuickgarage Nice I was hoping to see the body on because Im doing my 86 T-Type. Im waiting on some buddys to help put the body back on before I finalize that part and the rear cross member. I love these cars, but I hate them too!!!
your setup is looking great! I'm doing c5 brake setup on my s10 very soon, have most of the parts. did you have to do anything different with the front brake hoses ?
Wilwood. It will cost you but worth it. It’s hard to find these brakes now and if you do they want good money for them. You can do the whole set up just buy willwood calipers for corvette z06 2013
@@michalsuchomski5863 I went with the 6 piston also. I also bought the wilwood single piston electric e brake. But vette uses a 4 position set up which you could also buy from wilwood. So it matches the front if you decide to go with wilwood
Oh ok nice setup... I might use the same setup for my SS Montecarlo... Im using my rebuilt 7.5 rearend with moser axles right now with the Detroit truetrac posi, so hopefully these calipers will fit & work with it..
Thanks for the answer....I was looking for the same calipers on the summit page but it just appeared the wildwood brand and those are more expensive, I wonder if there are the same you used...
Awesome video and info bet it sounds clean!!! I'm current planning to run a 4 channel as well to my doors, buying all the harnesses i need for my aftermarket Tesla Radio... hopefully it works , do you recommend any products as far as Bose System deleting or do i simply run the RCAs from radio to amplifier?? 🙏
At what point? The frame run or the caliper to the frame? For the caliper to the frame I ordered it from kore3 the make the conversion for that. And the frame runs I ran teflon brake lines
It is very clean and looks great, but why is there a silverado there? Did it have a 3.8 turbo? The Typhoon, I understand....what a rare and special vehicle
Pablo The factory wheel studs are too short for Your wheel or Any wheel? Why do they need to be changed? Does the larger caliper necessitate that you change the studs?
Yes, because of the bigger calipers now I need a higher offset of a wheel and depending on the wheel wether 1 piece or 3 piece might need a spacer. The factory blazer spindles bolts are just way too short
I think it was 1/8 and I just got a thin piece of Medel lined it up with the rear of the box in area. Took to a medal beaming shop and told them make it exactly
172-2553 is a starting point. Go up or down on the last 2 digits and it will change the color of the caliper or be left or right. Your going to have a hard time finding any of them on eBay or roc auto it’s a discontinued part so your best luck is a vette forum or junkyard
