Welcome to The Nitro Nation, here you'll find videos of bashing, wrenching, tips, and basically anything that you can put fuel into! Hopefully you'll stick around for the fun and witness that sweet nitro POWER!
Looking good so far. I know you've got a roma aswell be interested to see how it compares as i love my roma but spares are very hard to find so would like a replacement engine.
Great vid bruh, These nova engines got what it takes but yeah you MUST tear down and inspect everything before you start the thing. The G9R engine for on road is a monster
Definitely wouldn’t be running any of those novas for racing ever since jarred Wiggins started running them he hasn’t been competitive seems like he is always having an issue
@@jonpye8655 you didn’t catch all the metal that came out of it? You shouldn’t have to dis assemble a factory assembles race engine to check for metal and to actually find metal is just unacceptable
Its looking much better than the first batch of Novas. The ports are Big! The crank window aswell! This engine is not designed for fuel economy ! Is the crankshaft still as tight as it was in the b5? This is very interesting, I wish I had one in my hands to check the numbers and compare it to my p324. If you are happy with it in the long run, I may try one 🤔 A shame for the wrist pin and the steel bearing.. but you cant complain, you got much better aftermarket service than me 😆
Yeah for sure, I’m much more happy with the t6r than the b5r the fit and finish is much better, the crank comes out of the block like it should. And it runs fantastic much more reliable than the b5r once again. End of this season I’ll disassemble this engine and see how it’s held up.
@@thenitronation5815 The only time I was ever told off was when I was breaking in engines last summer. I was doing full throttle break-ins so I understand.
my savage x4.6 trasmistion the first set screw came out the holds the two speed how do i put it back in . if i need to take the transmition apart i need to bring it to hobby store i cant do thats please responed
Nice work on the vid and also appreciate you telling your story. - All manufacturing has issues and I am sure NOVA had some challenges getting everything worked out. I’m glad you stuck with it. Hopefully, when they finally release their 2.1cc engines, they learn from all their previous issues. Hopefully… Thanks for the vid 🩷
First batch issues but for these Nova guys all defcets are 'normal', just run it like that.. Im very curious about the latest versions but dont want to give them my money. There is a chance I will be testing a friend's new nova soon. I agree about the power though, they are very impressive
LoL Tasty. Yeah I agree, if you can try someone else’s first before buying yourself, it’s always a plus. - I really hope that NOVA learns from all the issues so that, when they release their 2.1cc engines, things go a lot more smoothly. - I am looking forward to picking one up when they are released so, fingers crossed 😅
The B5r rips 100%, buttttttt my boy has broken 2 rods and ruined 1 piston clip thus eating the piston all in 2500ml with his B5r . He knows what he doing too and runs top quality fuel. I run some modded Nova as well and I recommend installing a Novarossi rod or even better the Max Power rod. I run the Max rod in my modded G5r . Side note the Nova cases are an old RB mold the SLS Di5 to be exact ..lil food for thought .
