Dang dude that makes me want to throw up. Shame on them. Good on you, you’re one of the most knowledgeable nitro dudes on the Tube and I appreciate your videos. Take care bud
I have 20+ year old tmaxx's still running with original piston and sleeve of the cast version. I get what you are saying Traxxas is cheap but its that way with most major companies trying to milk their products for every cent. If you take care of them its not the end of the world. As least you can still buy them. Thanks for the video
Wow that is bad! I have new piston and sleeve in my new parts bin I'm definitely going to look at it and see what it looks like. They also never had oil holes in the top pin bores I put my own in witch definitely helps. They really need to stop the bullshit
The pro 15 didnt come out until 1996 as an option, and there was a 15 sport, and a 15 pro. There was the Image .12 from 92 to 95, then the TRX .12 came out in 1995, till 1996. then the .15 was standard 97 and onward.
dunno what these are for but that's digusting. See it every day in every way, machined steel becomes cast iron, becomes cast aluminium, becomes stamped aluminium, becomes plastic.
I remember your early videos of you at a skate park with I think a traxxas rustler? Muggy commented on that video saying something like no audio of the engine and you had music playing so he didn’t like clip, all in jest. Are you close to being a licensed mechanic yet? You been in this community a long time. All the best for Christmas and the new year 👍 From Juan Tu.
@@thenitronation5815 that's right, now I remember LOL. Any plans for car videos in the future like doing mods or rebuilding an engine? I think your subs would dig it
I’ve been thinking of doing stuff like that in the future. I’ve been doing the odd snowmobile/atv/ mini bike video but they don’t seam to be too popular so far
@@thenitronation5815 I liked those videos but I'm old now at 44 so to me that type of stuff is still cool AF and reminds me of when I was young hanging out with friends helping them with their cars and bikes
Can’t expect much from Traxxas. Made in Taiwan or China. Good quality control costs money, and Traxxas is greedy. Dump the Traxxas engines and get a real engine. Novarossi!!
