Such a beautiful build! No harm in preventive maintenance. You also have me wondering if I should buy the new xl savage or just build a twin like yours.
Thanks man the twin is a blast lots of time effort and money went into it and I’m still not done with it. It’s a work in progress. Hope to see more videos of yours btw
The front bearing doesn't seal the engine, basically the grove ring on the crank where oil or fuel fills up is where it seals. If you keep running fat rich, the crank is gonna fill up the and has no where to go, so it by-passes the oil grove on the crank and straight through the front bearing.
I’m aware of this and never said the front bearing did seal the engine. I like double seal for dirt intrusion, I can’t even recall how many times I’ve un shielded a front engine bearing and found dirt inside.
Great job bro I’m a big fan of avid bearings I put them in all my motors but definitely pay the price for ceramic bearings very sweet 🤜💯🫡🇦🇺keep up the good work
If your engine is already needing rebuild after 1 gallon, either you are doing something wrong or there’s the tiny tiny chance you got a bad one from the factory.
