Have to say I've not been up to date with you, Jenko (who actually lives 10 mins down the road from me) Kev or the others for a while, I've missed your vids as a fellow Welshie, I knew something was up but only now catching up. Scott another great video I am doing my class 1 hgv the end of oct 2024 but been looking for company to take on new driver is so so hard even agencies want six months experience or more it’s gonna come to a point where the old guys are going to retire and they’re not gonna have anybody to take over and this country is going to be in a mess because there’s no HGV drivers any tips on getting your first job, please Scott I am currently a coach driver at the moment driving a 20 tone coach round the country on tour. So I have large vehicle experience. Thanks jacko
Just be persistent when applying places. Unfortunately it evolves a little bit of right place, right time. The Coach experience should give you an advantage.
Sitting here in the rain, @ 5 in the morning, waiting for a trailer set to come of the ferry. Watching a guy on the other side of the world driving about in the rain.
