I live in Australia but am lucky to work and travel all across the world. I love making travel videos, thrift hauls, girl talk Q&As and life advice, daily vlogs, manifesting & the law of attraction, pop culture tier rankings, vegan recipes and of course, tips for working at a summer camp in America. This space is to share my passions for all of the above, as well as health, happiness, self love, spirituality, wellbeing, body positivity, fashion, sustainability and most likely, Taylor Swift
Look around, stay awhile, subscribe, thanks for watching the ads! x
🕯️I love your deep dives into her albums. They're a treat to watch and I always appreciate your kind, interesting, and generous perspective on Taylor and life in general. I especially loved your explanation of The Manuscript. I never connected to the song because I couldn't figure out what it was about, it felt abstract and confusing. But your All Too Well explanation makes so much sense and made me appreciate the song so much more!
Thank you for these videos and deep dives. I generally don't comment much, but I just loooove putting your videos like podcast and listening to you, your explanations and medias links (litterature, history, greek mythology, movies,...) that you made. Love u! <3
We literally wanted everything for Alison .A twin , a cruel summer plot twist which reveals she never really change and was hiding more to whatever she was hiding like wtfffd
Girl, Percy Jackson is the PERFECT way to get into Greek mythology! The author explains things in such a funny, feel-good way that I found way more interesting and entertaining than reading a textbook or Homer or what I learned in school. It’s like the Greek mythology version of Harry Potter (also the tv show on Disney+ is a great adaptation of the books so far)
I love all the love you gave the manuscript. It made me cry the first time I heard it, it’s so beautiful. I think it’s her saying goodbye to these eras. It has to have been so hard to revisit these eras in her life, re-recording her songs.
to answer your question, loml is not a waltz :) it's all in the time signature (3/4 for a waltz, whereas loml is in 4/4) think of it like when you're counting along to the beat, in the song it's like 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 whereas in a waltz it would be 1 2 3 1 2 3 etc
Death rattle breathing is so haunting. I’ve heard it before from my dog who passed but I didn’t know it was called that. I’m so sorry to you Ally and anyone else who has had to experience that happening to a person they love 💔
These were so fun and detailed! Thank you for those videos, Ally. I can't imagine how much work went into them but for sure it was a lot. I was reminded of the reason why I love Taylor's songwriting through these and I'm missing them already. Thank you!!
Also, side note for Ally. In Black Dog referencing piercing through the heart: (you parallel here DBATC, but also please remember and see how it can also tie again to my personal favorite, “pierced through the heart but never killed”. In AH. You are MY FAVORITE. JUST the best! Love, BRITT your OLDER SISTER ✨
'A greater woman has faith But even statues crumble if they're made to wait I'm so afraid I sealed my fate No sign of soulmates I'm just a paperweight In shades of greige.' Hurts so good.
Marlene King really set up a generation of aria lovers to be gr00med and I'm barely even kidding about that, I legit through that was a desirable relationship and it did not set me up for good things!
