The spring is better & the newer model has cut backs so Kitchen Aid removed the spring for costs. This review has so much important information was easy to listen to. Thanks
Among the many unleavened videos I have watched, I feel yours is the best. I thank you very much for it! Like when you pieced the bread, Christ was pierced for our transgressions. Peace.
Thanks for the feedback. It was one of our earlier videos, we have improved in subsequent videos. You are welcome to check out our other videos on the channel. Thanks
Thanks peteedberg4217. I found them at my local grocery store but you can try a mart that sells gourmet ingredients. It is easy to find during certain season of the year. Hope that helps.
“Every household owns one.” Literally never met anyone who owns one. I only met about 3 people who even bake. Given half of the world’s households don’t even have electricity, I’d say it’s more likely that about one household in 10,000 owns one.
Hi @marshameyer788, mandarin peel can contain about 89mg/100g of vitamin C and the average daily intake of vitamin C for an adult is in the range of 75-90mg per day. Depending on the size of the peel, it may meet the daily vitamin C intake of a typical adult. Apologize if I was not very clear on my explanation. Hope this makes sense. Thanks
Hello everyone. I love your review. I was very happy that my husband bought me an KA Artisan 5KSM175PSEAC. After two months, i realised that there are not existing the carbon brush access right and left. I have already read somewhere that the newest models they don't have easy access to carbon brushes. So, my question is, that was a bad purchase? What if it need to replace the carbon brushes? There is no way? It costs 600 euros, extremely expensive , we live in Greece, but I wanted it so much, as I thought what was easy to fix, repair ech and because it supposed to last for years, investment like... Starting to regret... In the last trip to USA for the Christmas holidays, I saw the Classic in the Walmart for 295$, Shock... We already had spent so much for a machine that maybe is too complicated. Please help
Hi @anavarna, thanks for reaching out. Based on your model given there should be a black plastic on either the left or right that you can remove to replace the carbon brushes. But in the event that you don't then you may have to remove the entire metal housing to access the carbon brush. Honestly, I had mine for many years already and make bread regularly, you should not need to replace your carbon brushes anytime soon, so not to worry too much about it. Enjoy using the mixer to create your recipes and don't overload it then you should be fine for a very long time. Hope that helps :)
Since I make a lot of bread I have chosen the 5KSM7580X in Onyx Black. Well I got a great offer so the colour was not a real choice ;). It is a beast. Do not be fooled by the "measly" 500W motor. It got a kick and does even big batches of yeast dough. I hope it will last me some time as the warranty is a nice 5 years.
Thanks for sharing. The mixer you got is good and it should last you a long time to come. Kitchenaid makes good mixers, and the quality is like by many. I believe you will have a lot of fun making bread and other batter with that mixer. Thanks @-fazik-3713
Very nice, I have just tried other recipe of the snow skin by using Icing sugar, "Koh Fun" (Glutinous rice), Shortening and cold water, but somehow yours looks very yummy, will try your recipe next time. Thanks for sharing
I used the original dough hook first, because I was waiting for the stainless one you recommended. No comparison. The stainless hook just mixed the dough without it rising up, and much quicker getting the gluten to form. Thank you, very much.
Coconut cream?!?!?! Oh my goodness Chef Ray Coleslaw is one of my favourite things and you have more than taken this to the next level I am simply amazed by the depth of thought and attention to detail you have given this dish, absolutely superb my friend!!!!!
Chef Ray: "I love the crunch", me too Chef, Making this soon here bet it would be great with vegan fríed chicken(oyster mushrooms).Buen provecho Chef Ray,👍and wishing ya a great weekend.😊🎉
Yes you can @sksim1908! Using the oven grill, the chicken will not be as crispy as the deep-fry method unless you precook the chicken to 70-80% before using the oven to crisp the skin. During the cooking process, liquids will come out of the chicken causing it to be less crispy due to the fact that the heat in an oven is not as efficient as the hot oil. The best I can recommend is that you elevate the chicken off the oven pan and allow the excess liquids to drip to the bottom so the chicken is not soaked in the juice. Hope that helps :-)

Oh 😮 I see, then can I safely assume you have the newer model to this tilt head mixer? Hope you are able to find a solution to the issue. Cheers bobsimple8291
Hi bobsimple8291. My mixer does wobble slightly when using the new dough hook but that is only due to the tilt head adjustment not the hook itself. The wobble can be resolved with a turn of a screw but then it will be off when using the paddle and whisk, in my case the wobble was very slight so I left it. I made a video in the past showing how to adjust the tilt head and wobbling of the mixer. I have attached the video link in the description below, you may refer to it and see if it helps.
@@AmazingKitchen Thanks for the response! Indeed, I've tried turning the screw, and ended up with the head being too high for other attachments. I'll check it out!
@@AmazingKitchen 2 screws? I think I've seen only 1, right between the base and the motor head 👀 Anyway, I've already received my refund. I guess I'll visit their shop to see how different models work there.
Thanks potatopotatoOG. The release of aldehydes is especially prominent with low smoking oil such as extra virgin olive oil. Vegetable oils also post other issues too. You may refer to my cooking oil review for more information :-)
Hi potatopotatoeOG, I have attached the link to the follow-up video for the Kitchenaid Mixer. Hope you will enjoy it. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-GQ_x8LPwURs.html
