The two faucet supply line behind the quick connect, I need to cap one of them, but I’m having hard time to do so, I went to home depot, and was instructed to get a cap, however, the cap is round, but the faucet supply is not round( as show in the video), which will make water leaking , may I ask for an advice how to cap it?

Your video helped me to keep trying to figure out a quick-connect. I was removing the hose on a 20-year-old faucet and the connector had two white tabs that you can squeeze. The trick was to push the white tabs toward the hose as you squeeze them and the clamping part pops out the opposite side.
