@@slowpoke870 I’d say 700 would be a safe bet, but I turned it all the way down after we finished this video, and I’ve been driving it a lot. I wanted to be sure that it wouldn’t get out from under me since my shoulder still doesn’t work right and it would be harder to save it than usual.
Now, if a guy ever get´s enough time and money over for building a fun automobile, i guess this is a dream come true. The only thing i would have added to this fantastic build, would be valves for the exhaust. So you could have a "Drive thru tunnel/cruize" mode, and a "Going 45 down the pan American highway" mode, with mufflers. I drove a straight piped 454 chevy corvette 700 miles once when i was young. Never, ever again..
@@mikeanderson2730 I’ve been an auto mechanic all my life as a career, and hot rods have been my passion since I was a boy. I’ve built a lot of cool cars, but this one tops them all in my opinion
I have to say, my heart is overwhelmed with nostalgia and pride seeing that you keep your garage just as clean and organized as I keep mine, as did my father keep his. Anyone can ask us where something is, and we know immediately where to look. Of course it'll take us 10 or 15 minutes to find it, but we damn well know we're searching in the correct pile, right? Great sounding LS, my friend. HA! My dad also had a blue Pinto wagon. When I was a kid, about 10 or 11 years old, I remember he put a V6 in it with Thrush mufflers, and you could hear it coming a half block away. The thing incredibly zippy after that. It certainly had zero problems merging onto the Chicago South Side highways.
@@pumpkinheadghoul lol, I’ve caught hell over the years about the fact that I’m not a neat freak, like you said, I k ow exactly where everything is More or less 😁
There you are, I see you've been a little busy. Shoulder surgery sounds like that sucked. I now see you in rehab, Lmao... I've been doing a little rehab like that myself. Good hearing from you talk at you later.
@@bluecollarperformance1331 well it sounds to me like you need to do some suspension adjustments and maybe some more tire. Oh yeah and don't forget the Polish up them brass balls you got.lmao...
I like how your brain works I've always wondered what would happen if you take your standard gasoline motor and put it on nitro,I wonder if you could do that with a carbureted motor?
