Hey there, not yet! I need to/and will update one soon. What I can tell you is there has been growth and change in the area for sure! New development and renovation through companies like Homeport and Nationwide Children's Hospital, as well as investors. This area still still remains one of the top areas when looking for housing affordability as well.
Hey I love your video!!! I'm thinking about moving to Columbus next year. I live in Cincinnati and I do love Cincinnati but i believe Columbus is bigger, more diverse and less conservative than Cincinnati. What do you think about Easton, Polaris, Gahanna and Worthington as far as living? Are those safe great affordable towns to live in?
You are indeed correct. I have to be careful when communicating as I look at things from a 'Central Ohio' perspective. Wasn't my intention to take anything away from the City of Dublin.
The Big house on Mohawk behind St. Mary's school used to be St. Mary's one room school house way back when the German Village was settled, then it was a US bank for a long time. Now owned by the owner of Cardinal Health and he has renovated it into probably a 2 Million dollar home, complete with a huge underground garage for his expensive cars.
There is no train transportation in Columbus unfortunately. We do have public busing through COTA but it does have some limits depending on where you work is.
And now for the reality!!!! The crime rates in Reynoldsburg is going crazy, matter of fact, Reynoldsburg is the second highest crime in the area with Whitehall being the highest Remember this is where "Uzi Ally" was before the city bulldozed the entire area. This explains the stagnated housing prices for the past 2 decades while the other areas have gone up significantly. I live in the better of the Reynoldsburg neighborhood but this is where the corrupt city has allowed Shelly Asphalt plant that produces ton of carcinogen pollution at night time with an elementary school less then few blocks away. THIS IS REYNOLDSBURG... I cant wait to get the hell out of this $hitty corrupt crime ridden dying town, its an extension of Whitehall and seems to be turning into one. Truth hurts and its hurting me because when I moved here to raise my family 20 years ago it was a nice area with schools that were 8 and 9 now they are 3 and 4. I am stuck but cannot wait to get the hell out of this place. Mistake of my life moving here.... Just my opinion
It depends on what part of Reynoldsburg you live in. Most of the crime you're talking about is in the south/south west part of Reynoldsburg. Around the Brice Rd. and Livingston Ave. area. I live in the north eastern part of Reynoldsburg and the crime is practically non-existent. I'm so north east that I'm practically in Pastaskala. Even the lot of my house is Licking County. Check out the areas around Waggoner Rd and Taylor Rd. north of Main St.

I've been a local in Columbus Ohio my whole life I recently decided to start a landscaping company after many years of working for big companies here in the city the only thing I can say is the weather here is brutal very unpredictable but when you're looking for a close-knit community and people to support you this is a good place to be
I’m been in NY my whole life I’m 33, my wife and I just got a place in Columbus we move in a week. I’m nervous But my sister in law is there and my wife visits and tells me how much she loves it so I decided ( or she did ) lol

I'm looking at Columbus as an option for relocation once I get through Nursing school in 2 years or so. The housing market seems reasonable, for the most part. I might have the opportunity to stay in the city for about 2 months, so hopefully I'll have enough time to check it out and see if it's for me. I'm from West Virginia, and I really want out of this hell hole of a state, but unfortunately while I do plan on moving, I'm tied to West Virginia for the time being due to being contracted with the WV Army National Guard, so I need to be somewhere within at least reasonable driving distance, and I feel like this is it. I'm looking to move to a big city, somewhere more LGBTQ+ friendly. You guys have a Go club, plenty of places for me to play Magic the Gathering, lots of sporting events to go to, an amusement park, I'm sure I'll enjoy it.
I truly believe you can/will find what you're looking for here. Columbus is just 4-5 hours from WV so you would be close to get back fairly quickly as needed. Columbus is one of the most diverse areas as it relates to LGBTQ+ and diversity overall, in my opinion. Actually the Census data proves that to be true as well. Hopefully you can get here to stay for a few weeks and really scope it out and see for yourself. All my best to you!
Me too. We have several areas where there are lots of them but Reynoldsburg is one of the first areas I think of when people ask for ranch homes. It's because they are brick homes too, which I love!
If anyone is interested, then check out Groveport: At Town and its People - Groveport Heritage Society. It was really fascinating to learn about a city that once was a small farming/industrial village. I used to live there, and I miss living in town and being within walking or bike riding distance from places. One day I will move back.
@@AskRigs them 2 houses I can sell for around 180,000 each I'm thinking about selling I don't see people in south linden being able to afford rent once it goes over 1000.00 a month I been at 990.00 for over a decade it's time I cashout and wait for the housing market to crash and buy low again with inflation rising gas prices people not working the Federal Reserve raising interest rates possibly six times in 2022
@@brianperry3974 No doubt you have the equity in those houses and have options - it's why owning real estate is so awesome! You have a total plan so it's up to you how you want to execute it all. Sounds like you have great tenants as well, paying on time and caring for the property too! Otherwise you likely would have sold already!
Rent prices are up EVERYWHERE though to be fair. Having rent under $1.000 right now is really becoming more and more unheard of right now in many areas!
Totally agree with you Reynoldsburg is now just an extension of Whitehall trash. Sad!!!!! I used t like this place but cannot wait to get the heck out. crime is going crazy... Even the new high school in so called quit nice neighborhood is a site of a murder. NOT GOOD PLACE ANY MORE

@@AskRigs I know you weren’t being offensive. I wasn’t either🤗. At this point everywhere is a mess. I live off sawmill and it’s so ran down since last year. When the businesses closed there was nothing but weeds growing. All unkempt. I can just imagine how it is out East now too.
