What do you think of adding Ledger Shredder to this build? It can potentially apply pressure early on as well as discard some Vehicles that need to be discarded
How insane would it be to splash blue for 2x-3x Treasure Cruise? I play a lot of Premodern and Old School burn and all I want is to refill my hand with bad cards. Thanks
Love the variant especially with regular mono W low tier right now. Emeria's call giving game vs control sweepers so cheeky. FYI: Your moxfield link missing Thalia's Lieutenant <3
Thanks for the upload Nick! I was wondering why did you choose 4 Ziatora's Proving Ground instead of Indatha Triome, since at least you have some use for the white mana in the sideboard (path of peril) but no use for the red that I could see?
No lie I'm playing a similar version with proxy and see the truth. Only thing is I play 2 day's undoing. Yah I know, arena doesn't have that card. Could always try splashing a little more red for collective defiance... Overall love the deck. Great showing of it.
couldn't you have played niv if you had cracked the fabled passage when your Omnath was targeted by the lightning axe (Min. 32) Or did I miss something :D
45:14 you played the aegis, and two triggers went on the stack: create token and exile {target} creature. Targeting the veinripper caused its ward ability to trigger and go on the stack. So the ward ability was always going to resolve before the token creation, auto-ordering triggers didn't matter :)
At 14:45 or so, if you're worried about removal, you can set a stop during the end of combat step, let damage happen, then channel Eiganjo afterwards (since Sheoldred is still considered an attacking creature). It's very useful to keep in mind with cards like this.
Very cool deck. When I put together all the matches, maybe you could get away with trimming two lands since there is so much card advantage and filtering. It's you are then struggling to get your land drops, consider some mdfc?
Well played. I love the plot tech with Jace, Valki and See the Truth. I undervalued See the Truth, after watching this I might consider it more in deck building.
This feels like you might as well be playing this in standard considering most of these cards are standard legal. You do lose the 4 Champions but you gain the advantage of much weaker competition.
high noon also makes stoic sphinx practically untouchable. once they've cast a spell for the turn then the coast is clear to cast whatever you like. without high noon you often open yourself up to removal just by casting a counter spell. great vid keep it up
