Welcome to the Good Exercise Guide. Our Channel aims to provide you with an expert and reliable source of exercises. We will provide both individual exercises (which are grouped into Stretching, Strengthening and Flexibility subgroups), as well as sequences of exercises which we as physical therapists often prescribe to our own patients.

Our medical team have a long and broad experience treating and advising individuals who require exercises as part of their recovery. We hope to be able to pass some of this experience your way, and to your advantage.

I've been doing the bridging exercise but it's given me horrible backache. This is the problem when you're older like me - any new exercise tends to create as much pain as the condition you're trying to cure!

I CHALLANGE THIS. WHERE IS WHAT WOULD BE THE PU;LLYS OF ROTATOR SURGERY? MOST IMPORTANT IS DONT WAIT 3 OR 4 WEEKS TO LEARN HOW TO STRETCH THE HIP.. THERAPIST ALL OVER ARE SCREWING THIS UP

Be brave! It hurts, it hurts me and will hurt you. But I do it anyway! Not everything in life is fun and pain-free. If I do this daily, I'm sure my bad knee will get more flexible. Also don't forget to strengthen your thigh to support the new knee. Wish us both luck, I'm doing these exercises with you!

I'm having TKR. I was told you shouldn't do these on floor or you won't be able to get up again after surgery! Do these in bed! So much they don't tell you. Do what YOU can as much as you can. Don't try to do what a healthy 20 year old is doing.

Great video, but my flexibility is poor! Can barely bend my knee at all had surgery 10/1/23 its now 14/1/23

This is dangerous and should be pulled from RU-vid. If I tried this after my total hip replacement I would have been in a lot of trouble as you CAN NOT lay on your stomach. Would have dislocated my hip. DO NOT DO THIS. if you want to flex your knee do heel slides on your bed not passing your 90 restrictions, or just bend your knee while standing. DO NOT DO THE STOMACH EXERCISE, IT IS VERY DANGEROUS IF YOU ARE NOT PAST 6 WEEKS MINIMUM

If no number of reps or sets are specified, I assume only one of each. Another issue is to assume once daily. 2:14

I have 1 day my surgery meniscus tear . My Dr Dosent give me the instructions they give me the exercises sheet but don’t tell what days I started. Now I decided my self start a little bit exercise like flexion and extension . It’s anyone’s help me did you start day 1 of your surgery stand few second . I am worried if I do to much exercise cause problems my knee , today is my second . I just worried if I do to early days now it’s cause problems.anyones have suggestion . It’s the okey start day 1 of surgery.

Hello All! Read your comments and horror stories. Please look at the RU-vid video titled: "Bakers Cyst Treatment" by, Doctor Girmann at Inertia Medical. He is located in Cincinnati Ohio. He do not use steroid shots. Shots DO NOT work. He uses ultrasound to detect what it is, next numbing and draining this painful thing. I hope this video helps you, I am considering going to him. His office have a rating of 5.0, a perfect score and highly rated by his patients. They offer additional services as well. Hope this help many and all of you needing help with this debilitating ailment. Blessings!
