I honestly wanted Ivar to stay with Katia, raise their baby & Igor. In a fairytale perhaps. But he couldn’t love Katia for the woman she was, he was too stuck in the past.
it's absolutely amazing, i was just thinking about how all the liberal effete elite in power right now were going to be so unlucky and lost after they collapse America and i see Magnus and think yes they are all Magnus the unlucky.
Izzy come.
I can relate to Ivar in so many ways. I don’t see Ivar as an evil person, I see him as a person who just wants to be loved unconditionally & he’s hurt & in a sense broken because he has never known unconditional love or acceptance except from Floki
The only thing Ivar ever really wanted was to avenge his father (✅) and avenge his mother. Which completely makes sense. He believed in his father and the only thing that somewhat contorted him was know he was going to successfully avenge his death but never expected that he would come home and find out his mother was killed in cold blood. Wether Aslaug is considered a good character or not, to Ivar he was a good mom. It makes complete sense why he wanted to kill Lagethera for killing his mom. Yes, Ivar killing Sigurd shouldn't have happened but it was only a matter of time before they were going to kill each other. The difference is that Ivar is unpredictable and has a lot of anger so maybe Sigurd shouldn't have tried to annoy him and humiliate him when he had a weapon nearby. Sigurd shouldn't have kept his mouth shut but instead he kept pushing it purposely trying to annoy him. Call me a coward but I wouldn't want to piss off Ivar. Especially if he has a weapon nearby. Ivar went power hungry so he could prove he was equal to others because of his disability. He wanted to avenge his parents death and I don't see a problems in wanting those things because that makes sense.
