You and I are going to drink a lot of coffee together. Like, borderline dangerous amounts of coffee. So pour yourself a mug and I’ll introduce myself real quick. My name’s Jordan - but everyone calls me “J” - and I’m a 27th degree black belt in chugging coffee.

I’m also a strength & nutrition coach, I hold several powerlifting world records, and I’ve been fortunate enough to have my writing featured in a variety of outlets like CNN, the Huffington Post, and Schwarzenegger.com.

But listen.

This channel isn’t for fame, publicity, cash, props, fist bumps, likes, pings, pows or whatever else there is. It’s a place where you and I can chat. I’ll never sugar coat, lie, or beat around the bush. I’ll tell you everything exactly as I see it. Some stuff you might like. Others you might not. And that’s totally cool.

Either way, my goal here is to create a discussion. Where you and I can hang out, exchange ideas, & motivate each other every day.

Any questions? Let me know!

its actually not that hard and i would say that she is lying. most people want to hear good things about their bad habits, so when someone is hot and eats just like you they are more acceptable and people like them more. this is coached and this question was scripted. to analyze the answer is a waste of time.

Job well done here… you remind me of Mr. Dan Peña actually… no filters while speaking but the information is shared clean, rough and honest, which suppose to deliver the message as real as possible without any bs involved… I mean I whoever watched this video wants to get some results while working out and to enjoy the results that effort.and I will add a short quote from Mr. Arnold Schwarzenegger: the iron never lies! So… do what needs to be done and enjoy the results! Thank you for your coaching… hopefully it means a lot to many! Respect!

Thank you so much for this video explanation! I do feel like I’m cheating while I’m on this medication. And I don’t know why I can’t shake that. I’ve had a fabulous functional medicine doctor give me really good advice. I’m using Zepbound. She completely stressed the fact that we have to still eat protein, lift weights, get good sleep, and all the stuff you mentioned. If you don’t and you just let the weight fall off you will end up on the medication, the rest of your life. I want to build muscle and build my metabolism lose the weight slowly so that I end up the healthiest version of me at the end of my weight loss journey.

You didn't spell Protein wrong, the people who write the dictionaries did. It shouldn't be protein, it should be protien like you wrote. As they teach in school "I before E, except after c." I don't see a "C" anywhere in "protein"

I am so happy I am at a point in my life where I am not striving for a very low amount of body fat (which isn't even healthy for me), and can enjoy foods out without guilt. I still eat healthy, focus on protein intake, and am a very active person, but instead of trying to shrink myself and counting calories and worrying about that constantly, I am now lifting heavy and exercising because I love it, while eating more food. <3 it's definitely a process, and little thoughts do still creep into my head of past habits. Don't love this message she put out in this interview, I know it probably wasn't intentional, but it's really not a healthy mindset to have!

Yeah, in some point of time one gets to a point one can't go like this anymore. And the one and only way of dieting is the boring one. Meat, eggs, fish and some veggies. Or even no veggies. Enough protein and saturated fat makes you satisfied for at least 6 hrs and even more during the night. That's proper diet - when you have eaten and you are full of energy and satisfied for hours! Some call it low carb high fat, or Keto, or Carnivore.

Shout it from the rooftop! But I think the issue is more complex. As long as we as a society want our movie stars to look unrealistically perfect so we can live in fantasy land, then this kind of stuff will continue.

This is like when I was competing! You're so unrealistically lean for stage and tracking every single ounce then in the post show stages your brain can't stop you from eating once you crack in the slightest, "i will have a couple bites of donuts" turns into "I ate all the donuts and I'm painfully sick"

Regarding the binging - I see an increase in the amount of these 'mukbang' videos which is mind boggling to me that these creators have so many views and followers. Is there really a large population of people that enjoy watching others binge eat?
@MrVala77
@MrVala77 4 дня назад
She needed more fat, she should have ate some ribeye, pork butt, and other fatty meat. I've totally felt that need to binge on donuts because your body needs energy and if you are eating nothing but lean meat all the time, that protein doesn't supply enough energy and drawing on your fat stores, your body will rebel when its reserves get too low. Your body will fight back when its being deprived of nutrients.

I’m turning 54 hashi hypo post menopause and the food noise in my head has never been this loud and constant, it’s brutal. I’m normal weight now but I gain so easily it makes no sense…I went on a weekend yoga retreat, all juices, vegan, gained 6 lbs, how? I get why people go on these glp 1 just to quiet that food noise alone. I’m not on but have considered micro dose.

And yet there are STILL people protesting on the streets in support of Hamas. I find it so hard to understand why people don't do proper research before taking to the streets, they should know what they are supporting instead of parroting MSM narratives. I despair that people just can't or won't think for themselves

If I have a lot of red meat, it always upsets my stomach so I hardly ever have it, I could never do the carnivore diet. I do like eggs and chicken and fish and shrimp and turkey. But that’s it. I appreciate this video. I do know someone who did the carnivore diet and has been quite successful. Not just in some weight loss, but in other life markers as well
