Alyssa I am so so so so happy for you!!! I needed to see this video today….feeling defeated on my journey because of weight swings but it’s totally my fault for sneaking in a bite here and a bite there and it adds up. I am almost 65 years old and started a walk/run journey with Peloton on my treadmill…..9 days in a row and am so proud of myself. I realize that I am not the number on the scale and consistency and believing in the process will get me where I want to go. You have inspired me to just keep swimming…..Congratulations Auntie!! ❤
I love this series. Alyssa is so real and genuine. I love the way she said - I am just a girl, working a 9-5, eating good food and laughing. Amazing. I felt that. As I struggle with the mindset stuff, it is good to see, I am not alone on this journey. All the best to Alyssa - she truly deserves it. Also big congrats to Jordan and his growing family!

This was such an informative, inspiring video series. Validating to see another woman have the same questions, struggles and just normal fluctuactions! This is very motivational. I also find myself being hard on myself when my weight goes up and I spiral. It’s nice to see how Alyssa pushed through it and learned some grace for herself.

I thought this series was really well done. Loved the relationship that developed between Jordan and Alyssa and how Mitch captured those special moments. I had a relationship with a trainer but he moved away and I miss him. I tried another person, but it just wasn’t the same connection and so now I use the IC as my trainer. I feel Jordan and Alyssa could pretty well connect with anyone. Good luck going forward Alyssa. Hope you can start a family really soon. Maybe your children will be able to play together. ❤
Awesome to see a month of progress when no food is off limits. I wish more people getting into fat loss understood that it’s much easier to give your body less then it needs to maintain its current weight (for a deficit) when you can feel full and satisfied from every macronutrient and especially when you prioritize vegetables and fruits. And that if you can’t eat similar to how you’re eating for a fat loss for the rest of your life, then your progress now and in the future can’t be sustained. And no food, no day, week, month or year will stop you from reaching your goal if you get back on track. I really believe your message could have saved me from struggling with food for so long. I’ve been watching for about a year and a half and I wish I found you sooner. Thank you for all you do.
I will be brutally honest - I am following the story and leading my battle so we can have another baby and I can be mentally and physically ready to take care of. I have a supportive husband and a lovely 2yo boy right now. This whole story, your big news - congratulations and I wish problem free pregnancy and delivery for your wife - this is going to be amazing! Congratulations are in order for everyone in the video, great news all around! I guess my question is about the calorie range. I was using the same goal weight as Alyssa to calculate my calories based on your calorie calculator but my result seems way higher than what y’all said Alyssa’s was in earlier videos. Am I doing something wrong? It was great to see another queer Black woman with my similar build on this space so I’m really grateful for this series. Please continue to do more like these if y’all are able.
