@@TheEbrunet alright man, sick, cause I just bought an 85' 245 m46 manual, and I know it's not an 89-90, but I figured id turbo, cam, fuel, ecu swap and ARP stud head bolt the entire head. Know anyone who makes an 8v cam for turbo builds?
thanks! not required to make cuts although it is definitely an interference engine now if the timing belt broke. I confirmed there is ample piston to valve clearance when timed to spec.
As you know the stock volvo seat is a flat bench. I wanted the upholstery to match my front seats which had unique fabric in the center section. By carving out the foam and creating a contour into the bench seat it basically creates the illusion of “bucket seats” in the rear. This lent itself to creating the look of two seats in the rear and mirroring the front seatsz’ Recaro fabric. That's normal mines did that even after valve adjustment just take it on a long trail ride like a long one 2 3 hours and it will go away.im not shure what it is but this worked for me.and no more noise.
@@michaellyda7460 sorry to hear that I also pulled heavy logs also maybe that help mines also.maybe you should try that too.put in first low and tow a hudge log around.
@@michaellyda7460 do try towing heavy loads.when mine was doing it I just drove the heck out of it and was towing wood logs and carts full of gravel and in some pretty bad conditions my back property is hell to drive threw.i believe in my case what ever made the noise fixed it self.hondas are ment to work just put her to work.looking forward to hearing an update with good news.good luck.
i wish i could get my hands on one of these beauties, driving a viggen must've been a thrill and quite an experience, however I'm a realistic person and i know i will never ever gonna be able to have one, still viggen will always be my dream car forever
It’s from Kyrk Motorsports in Sweden, KY414. It’s just a lot bigger than the IPD cam, 14.7mm lift… don’t think lh2.4 could really run it! IPD is probably the best cam for LH ecu’s
the IPD turbo cam got 11.95mm lift and a wide LSA of 112, it's lift is up there with the bigger volvo stock cams like the K cam but less than the H cam from volvo. i am myself running the biggest volvo stock street cam they used in the 240 GT from 78-79 H cam on lh2.4 and it has 12mm lift in 11.5mm out and 272-268 duration in/out, as well as a LSA of 108 deg, usually the less LSA the better for NA cars performance wise, and it will cause the lumpy idle, a wide LSA will make it smother as there is less valve overlap and is more optimal for turbo engines
