I will teach you how to cook impressive dishes outdoors using a variety of methods. We will use everything from cast iron, campfires and smokers to make your campers thrilled. I will also show you some self reliance tips and catch clean and cook recipes and explain them step by step.
I don't season, I wash in soap and water, I use metal utensils and everything else "wrong". I get rust only rarely and food sticks a little... but so what?? The important thing is food tastes good. Not looking for NASA specs.
I'm a little late in watching , but this video is a little different then your normal work BUT , I think it's AWESOME .. THANK YOU FRANK FROM MONTANA.......
I picked them on the college campus I work at. I work in the grounds department and we keep that fact on the downlow. They went on a baked potato. They were cooked with cream, garlic and butter.
A great weekend. Yes, the wow on the smoked trout was well earned. So much fun catching them, and for Backwoods skill and knowledge in all aspects made for a meal not soon forgotten.
Why are you flipping the burger so early, when it’s sticking on the grill like that it’s not ready to flip your almost forcing and destroying the burger. And the hot dogs are much better to let cook in indirect heat don’t let them get too burned
OUR best ribs so far: 3 hr in Traeger smoker at LOW temp. 1.5hr at full temp/pressure in pressure cooker along with our sauce/glaze. Take out and put under regular oven broiler for a relatively short time while basting with glaze. Makes great taste, crust and tender as all get-out!!!!
Can this be folded more to create 90 degree angles and more of a U shape? Or does the way the hinges are mounted opposite from each other not allow that?
I love mines, I pair it next to a Sportsman Pro with to cast iron pans and they do great for cooking up some great meals. Keep in mind I don’t have any other cast iron cookware. I just have the 4 pieces as a do it all. Works good enough to not have a tone of cookware for me. Pretty versatile pieces. I’m pretty sure There are other items in their line up that work way better but I don’t have the room for everything.
Thank you so much! I have a nice 4400 food saver that I was going to throw away untill I saw your video. Mine is a little different with the top oval seal hidden inside. Well, when I checked those seals out, they were really dirty. I was able to clean the upper seal with a microfiber and a fork to reach and just pulled the bottom tray out and cleaned the lower one, easy peasy. So I then fired it up and it works better than the day I got it! Didn't even need to replace thos pesky seals and saved almost $200!
There was a guy I knew of on Long Island who trapped and smoked eels. He was a heavy drinker and died in a boating accident. Hit a channel marker in his skiff. Another man upstate off the Delaware smokes eels also. Built his house form river stones and puts up an eel weir in the river every year. Smoked eels are super tasty. Even a pate of smoked bluefish is awesome.
Wondered when you were going to another Trash or Treasure video. This one certainly surprised me. I wasn't aware eels were native to Florida. Thanks for sharing!
sometimes people think eel looks gross but personally, its just a long fish to me. will say the bigger ones look more appetizing but the way the japanese do it looks the best with the slow grilling and sauce
