Quality materials, advanced technology, and experienced craftsmanship are always included in our finished products.
Man! those caterpillars equipment are sexy as hell but they're also expensive..... You can get a bigger machine such as a Sany, Yanmar, hell even bobcat for the price of a cat 308.... But it is true that a cat is a sexy machine, if I was a machine looking to marry, caterpillar 308 would be my wife.... I would have hit on the 310 but that will be too much of a machine so I would settle with the 308
These guys do good jobs..... I see they use a 4 ×4 on the retaining wall instead of the green telephone poles, I wonder if it was for cost. early 90s after hurricane Andrew swept through South Florida I was working next to an FPL lineman crew and he made the comment that one of those green poles are 600.00 a piece.... I was going to run over some polls that was in the way... And I made the comment dude ask the only way to get around to the other side if the pole breaks so be it..... That he said no man Apple 600 bucks I don't want to hear from the people at the top don't break it...... I was shocked add the cost of those green poles
These guys do good work.... I always wondered how long equipment lasts for the Marine companies under those harsh conditions. It must be expensive as hell to build docks and seawall because if you have to replace your equipment every 6 to 7 years and the caterpillar 308 it's about $170,000 that is not pocket change.... I've been to auctions and you can tell the equipment that was used by the Marine companies... Because they're all rotten to hell.... Marine companies most least their equipments
We use concrete slats what we in Carolina is called pig slats but we use those instead of those metal catwalks any ideas why they don’t use that over in your parts?
That boardwalk looks real nice... Damn, I need to make a seawall and a boardwalk, I wonder what the average linear price for seawalls is... interesting
I wish you could do my seawall on beautiful Lake St. Clair, MI. Awesome work, been watching tons of videos for some time, finally subscribed today. Keep up the quality work.
Thank you so much for watching my videos and your kind words. I appreciate the subscribe. We work hard at putting out the best product we can for our customers.
WHAT!!!!!!! In the name of PPE did you forget to bring up during this job???? You I expect more from, those hands, they don’t know enough to care….. why don’t you have the guys in the water, wearing waiters???? They are balls deep in that nasty creosote and la dee da blah blah blah!!!!! Come on man, it’s your company, but their health! 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
You’re exactly right. Thanks for watching my channel in your comment, but don’t encourage trees around a seawall because of the roots grown out but when we have to deal with them, we make sure the wall is tied back very securely.
Are you able to just bring the kreosote lumber to the landfill? Or can it be re-used for anything? I’m not one of those goofy environmentalists but I’m just curious if there’s a use for that stuff
Thanks for watching my channel in your comment. Yes, they do except creosote believe it or not. My wife does sell old creosote to some people in her Reclaimed business some of the old farmers still like it.
First of all God Bless you, your team, and President Trump! I am a contractor from Maryland and am looking for ideas on what kind of company to use for 3500 LF of Temporary Sheet Piling, Cofferdams, and tons of turbidity curtains. I am an E&S control installer but I am unsure of whether to use a dedicated Shoring Company or to use possible a marine contractor. What do you suggest?
Thank you so much for your comment. God bless you as well in President Trump! Crazy times we live in right now for sure. I would definitely say Marine contractor or a utilities company could probably use some of that damn stuff as well. That’s quite a bit of it.
Thanks for your comment Buster. I appreciate it. Crazy times we live in!!! I mentioned you in the video. Did you hear it told all the guys to be smiling? 😄😄
Thanks for watching my channel and your comment. Yes, we have a lot of sand here which is great. We do run into some hard pan clay now the moon, which is like rock.
