1. 2-3 pairs of shoes, wearing the bulkiest on the plane (boots or running shoes). Pack these shoes into a bag, such as a cloth bag 2. 3 shirts (mix of long and short sleeves) and 2-3 bottoms (mix of shorts and pants depending on the weather). These are a variety of colors to mix and match. Wear bulkier items such as scarves and jackets on the plane. See about doing laundry on the road. 3. 1 active pair of leggings and active shirt for fitness 4. Underwear and socks for each day of the trip + 1. Extra camisoles and shirts if it's colder 5. Toiletries: eyecare, dental care, hair and body care (shampoo bar, all-body soap, brush, lotion, etc) 6. Essentials: wallet, sunglasses, keys, hand sanitizer, and phone with charger. Water bottle, silicone bag, tiffin, cloth napkin with chopsticks and a spoon
Minimalism will never go away but the videos put up (by lots of people who just jumped on the bandwagon) will. Anyone who actually has a mind to live with less stuff is going to live our way regardless whether people make videos about it or not. Almost all the people who were making minimalist videos are gone. Why? My theory is that they were just playing a game that they believed would earn them some money on RU-vid. I’m 65 now and I’ve lived as a “minimalist” since at least 1990. I never called it “minimalism” back in those days and only refer to the term because people are somewhat familiar with it. When I assess myself, I think I fall into a category that some have termed “Obsessive Compulsive Spartanism.” I don’t see myself changing because people have stopped making videos.

Music is annoying and disruptive. Another minimalism idea: do I thing at a time then do another. Listen to music or do a video. Turning off this video in the middle.

Oddly enough Marie Kondo is not a minimalist, she actually says that on her website 😂 Her methods do mix in with minimalism. I try to donate, sell or give away before I trash items.
