@ 2:20 Android is far superior to iPhone. Agree.. Apple Sucks... I've been walking around for 56 years and have never nor will ever own an Apple product. Apple Sucks... Can ya move Files back an forth on a iSuck... No... Enjoy the Cloud. Not your info anymore... Apple Sucks... Proprietary...
So if you can’t use the RC. ( I have the RC 2 for my Air 3) what controller is he using for this video, and it looks like he has it connected to either an Android or something. Can you explain that please? The controller looks like an RC Pro. But I don’t think it’s compatible with the Air 3 or correct me if I’m wrong.
5:28 Signal distance from iphone - Is that why there are some reports of performance degradation with the new remote id update (DJI FPV specifcally)? What happens if you're flying remote ID based off an iphone connection and you go beyond the distance of transmission?
What if you are flying in a city area lots of lofts apartments etc. And needed to fly low for footage at night? Won't the crazy bright strobe light disturb the people in their homes etc??? No?
Thanks it's a great video it's helps us a lot thanks for it Can you suggest me how to unlock geo zone in "FlyLitchi" as I am working with drone mapping we face lot of problem with it Thanks again
I feel like the title is a bit misleading here. One can't map with just the Mini 3 Pro, they need to either have another remote entirely (RC Pro) that costs more than the drone itself, or for those with apple devices they will need to have a separate additional android device. So for many, to use the Mini 3 Pro, there will be additional costs involved - perhaps the apps are free - but for many out there, it's definitely not "free".
It is a little odd that you are using software from Maps Made Easy and then offering your own programs that have a super suspiciously similar name. It is almost like you are trying to insinuate that they are related or that you are the originator of that software.
I work for a county millage based mosquito control in Michigan and we are getting ready to start a drone program. The products used are either bacterial based like BTI or a growth regulator like methoprene. The mosquito control next to us uses a drone made by Leading Edge.
My concern is the cost of an ASTM Parachute System. The prices I am seeing with the ASTM data for waivers is in the neighborhood of $2000. I think this was for the Phantom 4 V2. I am hoping more companies will develop parachute systems and the cost will come down some.
Thanks, an excellent video with added a little comedy at the beginning 👍. I have Aurel Nano plus, can it be done with Nano plus? If so, can you make a video please. Thanks.
These do nothing politicians sit back while their colleagues open the border to everyone, militarize the judicial system, and destroy our country. Instead, they waste time and money to pass, or attempt to pass, laws meant to oppress we peasants.
As a licensed professional surveyor in the state of Georgia I fully support NC's decision to protect the profession and in doing so protect the public.
I'd like to see some numbers re people who suffered from being lacerated by drone props. Of course, pilots not included. I know a couple of RC fixed wing pilots with scars on their fingers. You have to admit, anyone contemplating buying a drone and having seen this, well, that's the end of that. There are too many legal hoops to jump through. I understand safety and all. But good Lord, come up with a process that even a layman can understand and easily follow.
I get what they are trying to do, and actually agree with their end goal of Americans buying American-made products. I just think banning competition is a silly and unethical way to go about reaching their goal. I would support buying USA made drones over drones made in other countries IF they had the same quality or better. So create an incentive that causes an American drone company to come up with a better product! Don't get competitors banned, rather incentivize competition on an even playing field. Competition spurs innovation which ultimately nets a better product for the consumer (us).
Don't have the RC PRO. So, my only option would be to use the RC-N1 with my Android phone or tablet and install the apps there, correct? And if you wanted to use the M4P, you'd have to use the RC-N2? Will this work with the Mini 4K with the RC-N1C?
Great info was thinking of getting the mini 3. I honestly didn’t want to get remote ID I thought all drones need it which made me not want to get it. All I wanted to use it for was when we go off roading
There's a reason why China is making their own tech and replacing western tech to remove the threat for the government and military. They don't allow western tech for their government and military use because those hardware and software can be remotely accessed by the company.
I have the need to fly over a small boat doing donuts with 2 passengers to promote a boating adventure business. Is there a special waiver for an operation like that, that doesn't make me have to get a parachute? There operators of the boat understand what I'm doing and give me permission. Thanks!
Great video, thanks so much! This is something that's needed for someone that's completely new to FPV flying. Almost 5 minutes of commercials just to start with this video. That's ridiculous. I'm gonna switch to Duck viewer with NO commercials. RU-vid sucks sometimes.
Just keep in mind when it goes from “toy” to tool you are flying under 107 and that opens up a whole new can of worms. 44809 the waver under 107 has very specific requirements and you have to be careful about that.
How long will DJI support the Mini 3 Pro and the RC Pro? My enthusiasm quickly waned when they released the new O4 drones so quickly. I'm not the type to buy the newest stuff when the previous model works well enough. Just seems like a cash grab by DJI that I'm not willing to fall for.
